Description of Work: Initial ask was to install a light fixture in my hallway. They finished quickly and asked if there was anyting else I needed done. My doorbell hadn't worked for some time so I had them fix as well. They replaced the amplifier, the switch (which now lights up at night) and correctly installed the wiring (which the previous homeowner had not done properly). In addition, I asked them to bid out replacing all electrical in the house, given the age of the wiring. They were professional, very helpful, informed and really made the most of their time at my house.

Pointed out an issue with my electrical service and gave me all the information I needed to contact the electric company. Did a great job and would use them again.

Description of Work: I got the deal that was on offer to have a light fitting in my dining room replaced. The electrician was ok but was distracted the whole time on the phone,as he had left his glasses at another job the previous day. He was constantly making calls and spent virtually the whole time on the phone whilst still trying to fit the light!! He paid little attention to putting up the light fitting. I spent the whole time holding my breath as he was so preoccupied on the phone he nearly broke the glass of the lights several time - to which he was oblivious. I even offered to finish off, but he continued on whilst still on the phone! I had also asked for the light to be lower, which I was told was not possible due to the length of cable - but have since had the light re-hung using the original cable! He made me feel that as I had paid for the "deal" for the work that I had got more than my moneys worth - and promptly left. I would never have paid full price for this work. Would never use again.
