Electrician showed up when scheduled and did a good job of accommodating our schedule. Work was well done. We have used an electrician from this company twice now, and will have him back again when our new light fixtures are ready to install. The work is not cheap, but it is well done.

We purchase an Angie's List promotion since we wanted to install an outdoor electrical outlet for some time and our older home didn't have one. The work exceed the amount of the promotion and the electrician provided us with all the options. He was very professional and helpful.

It went great. I was told and clarified about the work and what would be done before Sean started. He also gave me the option of not having the work done and getting a refund, but after he clarified everything and answered my questions with additional detail I had no problem going a head with the deal. I was also comfortable with leaving my house and Sean to do the work. He did a great job and I got more than I expected. See my old box only had one spot left for one more breaker. The new box has plenty more available spots for any future expansions. Yes I am a happy customer.

We purchases an Angie's Deal $69 for $200 worth of electrical work. We needed one outlet fixed in the basement that wasn't working. They ended up fixing that outlet (not an easy fix as previous homeowner appears to have done the work and not correctly so new wiring had to be run). Needless to say, it took a little more effort. The electrician was professional, thorough and on-time. He even checked a few more outlets in the area and found they weren't grounded, so fixed those too. Provided us with a lot of confidence that after completion of his work that my daughter's play area was much safer. Would definitely hire them again. Scheduling was easy and appointments were available fairly quickly.

It was a very pleasant experience overall. I called Randy's Electric and set up a time with them that worked well for both of us to come out for the job. They were very friendly on the phone. I would very much call them again if I needed work done, they seemed very professional.

I originally had them scheduled for 8/23 to install a plug for an electric dryer. But when Brent came he said there was not enough space on the circuit breaker. He informed me of my different options and also gave me quotes for other work I wanted done. He reworked the schedule so he could come back on Monday to get the dyer plug done (with a new side circuit panel) and then returned Friday to finish the rest of the work that I needed done. Everything was done very well and I really appreciated that he was able to come back right away on Monday to get the dryer ready to go.

Performed the services satisfactorily at a reasonable price. Came at the very end of their 2 hour window, but completed the work quickly. Also provided estimates for a variety of other services in case we chose to complete them.

We purchased the Big Deal for $230 of electrical service. Randy's Electric will not give a hard estimate on the cost for a dead circuit instead they will give you an estimate which can go higher if additional work is required. There is also an additional charge for a service call even though we live close to their location. The dead circuit was found in short order but the minimum charge would normally be for over an hour. They do not give hourly rates.

He evaluated the various jobs I had. After he finished, I decided that the doorbell was the priority. Evaluating the old one and installing a new one used all of the credit that I had on the Big Deal.

Did job as scheduled. No problems with work.

Great, individual was very professional and great help. Offered solutions to some other random electrical questions I had as well, would certainly go through again for any electrical issues in the future.

Very expensive! Does not appear that the repair will be long term.

The tech did an awesome job in re-wiring our lights so they would work.

I for some reason did not know the $119 was only to replace a motion sensor that was already installed, so I added up the extra charges including a $49 trip charge and the charges for putting in a new fixture in a new spot and the price was going to be over $200 easily. Not the deal I thought it was going to be. The price is higher than some other electric companies.

Overall .. the representative was courteous and professional .. we felt that based on other quotes received .. the company was on the higher side for the 'work' we were quoted. We are not unhappy with this Company .. just not sure we would use their services based around price.

Provider first came out to see the scope of the work. Then on the day agreed upon they showed up on time, and completed their work as quickly as possible. Their technician stayed well past supper time to ensure that the job was completed. We are very satisfied with the results. We would recommend their work, and will use them again.

We needed our bathroom fan/light combo working again, so I purchased an Angie's List deal for $69 for $200 worth of electrical services from Randy?s Electric. Brent, the electrician, was a punctual, personable, and capable young man. Right away he explained that diagnosing the problem would be an automatic $239 charge. I thought was outrageous, but the $200 coupon nearly covered it so I agreed. There was also a $49 trip charge, so already I was $88 in the hole?actually $118 in the hole, since I had spent $69 for the coupon. Brent climbed into the crawl space and quickly found the problem: whoever had wired the existing fan/light jerry-rigged the wiring. He said it was a fire hazard. His recommendation was to replace the existing junction box, which was a tangled mess of wires, and either (1) rewire the fan to work with the light, or (2) rewire the fan and add wiring for the light so that the two could function independently. Option 1 would cost me be an additional $384, pushing my total up to $472 ($49 trip charge + $239 diagnostic + 384 rewire = $672, less $200 for the value of the coupon). Option 2 would be $683 more than the base cost, pushing the total up to $771 ($49 trip charge + $239 diagnostic + $683 rewire = $971, less $200 for the value of the coupon). I was shocked but felt I had little choice. The wiring was a fire hazard, we had been without a functioning fan for nearly a year, and I was obliged to pay the service call and diagnostic fees regardless. I chose option 2. While I am happy to have a safe and working bathroom fan and light, I feel very ripped off by this company. The electrician was here 2½ hours and it cost me $840 (including the $69 for the coupon). The actual value of his work was supposedly $971?that?s $388 an hour!!!

Our original aim was to check on an outlet where sparks had occurred, to install an outdoor outlet and install outdoor lights. Our electrician was prompt, courteous, up front about costs. He showed us coding problems with wiring inside and out, but put no pressure on us to have Randy's do the work. (We decided to have them do it). He began the work the same day he came out and completed it the next day, giving me periodic updates and checking with me to make sure the angles of the lights and other things were to my liking. After quoting a price, it turned out there was more work involved than anticipated it turned out (e.g. there had been a small fire in the outlet where the sparks had been seen), but he stuck with the original quote in spite of the additional work. I would use Randy's again without question.
