Randy's Electric

They showed up on time as scheduled. Were very professional. Only question was cost. Was more expensive than I thought it would be as I had a local contractor give me a price. I thought going via AL it would have been about the same. It was $100 more in the end.

Great service. It was very fast. It was 2 days before Christmas and came out within 2 hours. It wasn't an emergency but they responded right away. They were very good.

I was very pleased that my current ceiling fan is now functional before summer weather and that I could keep it instead of replacing it. I was also appreciative of the estimate for future work that is much needed and hope to have completed soon. Having bought a Deals through Angies List, I did not appreciate the extra cost of a service charge as electrical work is so extremely expensive as it is! Work was done and provider was considerate and professional. Although I have more electrical work to be done yet and have many other electrical company options, I would consider hiring this company again for the estimate given for needed furture work.

They were on time, very professional and quite a craftsman. Cleaned up the mess he made before he left and showed me everything he did. Great company.

Randy's was punctual, thorough, and professional. They also arranged for the inspection and the permits, if they were needed (I don't recall). Everything works and the inspector was satisfied with their work as well.

Expensive! I was not aware of a $59 charge just for having them come out to look at my project! Jeremy (my electrician) was very perrsonable and no complaints with him. I called Randy's to let them know that I was not aware that I would be charged $59 just to have them come out...the receptionist just thanked me for the concern and offerered no additional customer service.

So after getting my refund (minus a $59 service charge) from Randy's I brought in a competitive electrician who did the job for $995, including two of the mentioned services required to meet code. The city inspector just left, after approving the job. Am I ever glad I got a competitive bid. It saved me about $1,200. Granted, Randy's would have also done one other service replacing the power line mast going into my house, (no small job) but that just was not required at this time. I appreciate that Randy's insists on doing things the right way and by the book, and that there may be some judgement involved for meeting code. But Randy's must understand that THEY are the experts and that homeowners like me depend upon their recommendations. We feel vulnerable, which is why we join Angie's List. I just have to wonder how many people were "up sold" after buying this Big Deal from Randy's Electric. I believe the experience I had with this particular Big Deal also reflects poorly on Angie's' List.

They came out an did an evaluation and there was an extra cost.

They were great. They showed up on time and were super friendly. They even purchased the part that I needed for me so they didn't have to make to service calls. I have their magnet on my fridge.

It went well. We bought the fixtures and they came removed the old fixtures and placed the new ones. They were very nice.

Joe was courteous, on time and performed the work in a timely manner. I'd definitely use Randy's Electric again should the need arise.

I signed up for an Angie's Deal - they responded quickly. I set up an appmt but could not be home, since I work during the day. The electrician that came to the house called when he got there. He checked things out and told me what the extra cost would be, as the bracing for the fans did not appear to be have been done correctly. Also, asked if I wanted separate switches for the lights on the fan and the fan blades and what the cost would be for that. I opted for one room to have the two switches. He then called back after he had done the install, and told me that he did find the bracing to be just fine, so the cost would be reduced. He was courteous, prompt and did an excellent job. Everything was cleaned up after he left. I would definitely use their services again.

The service went well and we really enjoyed working with the company. I had them replace a light fixture in the garage, replace a ceiling fan and do some other electrical work in the house. We did pay an additional fee to have everything we needed done. Two technicians came out for the job. They were very professional and did not try to sell us unnecessary services. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

They were actually very good. The technician was just really quiet and helpful. He explained things and worked with the options that were available to me. The price was pretty reasonable. He did a really nice job. They were there right on time.

introduced themselves. explained what they would be doing . Laid down cloths over all surfaces, vacuumed up any dust after. Asked questions from me as to exact placement of lights. They picked up well after. Showed me how switches worked and of course to call if there were any problems They took all boxes and packing from lights with them to recycle. I would use again.

It wasn't a huge deal that the fans weren't balanced but since I was paying full price ($218 for each w/remote) for 2 of the 3 installations I find it very surprising that the last fan was not balanced considering how badly it was shaking. No mention at all in the coupon that balancing was not included. To cap it off I was told by the Tech that Randy is an ordained minister and was handed a brochure about Randy?s personal Faith journey that includes a website link to his church. To say this is inappropriate would be a gross understatement but it did explain why the fans weren?t balanced. Everyone remembers that old adage from the Bible where Jesus says: Thou shall taketh full price from thine customer without properly completing thine job. I will not be using Randy?s Electric in the future. Thou sayest the Customer. Amen.

We found these guys to be fantastic! Everything was done in the time they said it would. EVERY time they came in the house they put on clean booties, and they were in and out a lot. It was quite cold outside, yet they kept working without so much one complaint or warm up breaks. We were very happy with Randy's Electric and would recommend them without hesitation.

The electrician wired a control box to the bathroom for our air exchange unit and the circuit board got fried in the process making the base unit unusable. As an act of goodwill, Randy's Electric replaced the entire air exchange system within a week at their cost so we could close on the sale of our home. Many vendors would not have turned a potential disaster situation into a solution for its customer. Randy's Electric truly believes in customer satisfaction and should be highly commended for its high ethical standard in making a circumstance gone bad turn into a satisfying result for its customers. They were wonderful, I highly recommend them.

I was very impressed with the integrity, professionalism, patience, and overall customer service of this provider. Jeremy, our main electrician, took the time to diagnose the problem and provided updated estimates along the way. There were some wiring issues uncovered with the 3-way switch that really sent him for a loop - unfortunately there appeared to be some alterations in the past that were causing problems. Jeremy never gave up and he was humble enough to bring in another electrician, Dan, on the second day to help. Ultimately, the issue was resolved, and the ceiling fan was installed and the original estimate was still in line. This is kind of customer service that will have us bring back Randy's Electric in the future. They obviously care about their customers and their actions match the integrity and customer satisfaction guarantees that they lay out as a company. Thank you again for your hard work, Jeremy and Dan.
