"[Member Name Removed], I apologize for the delay in getting you the paint for the touch up holes. I contacted my painter who will be calling you to come out and fill and touch up the nail holes. To say our trim is low quality is completely unfair. It would be about half of the cost to go and get trim from Home Depot and install that. The installer probably forgot to move the pressure down on his nail gun before he applied that jamb and that is why it split. When our painter comes out he can take a look at the other crack where you predrilled your blind. What size screw did you install the blind with and what was the size of the drill bit that you used to pre-drill? Again I apologize for the delay on the nail holes but we will make sure to get the project completed. Best, Matt"

We needed replacement windows and decided on APEX Energy Solutions. We signed our agreement in July. The windows weren't ordered until August after multiple phone calls to the company. Then were were told some of our windows could not be engineered so they offered us a lower quality window for the same price. After phone calls and face-to-face interactions, they did engineer us the windows we ordered and paid for. It's now October. They kept telling us they were waiting on one more window before the installers would come out. The installation started in December. We came home after all the outside wraps were complete...and they were the wrong color. Two windows broke in transit, so the installers came back mid-January to replace those and replace all the wraps.
Six plus months it took and over 25 phone calls to APEX, including conversations with the owner. In the end, they gave us a sheet to refer our friends.

We rely solely on referrals from the select homeowners with yard signs we put up during installations because we do not utilize traditional means of advertising such as newspaper, radio, direct mail, and television, nor do we attend any industry trade shows. To positively differentiate ourselves from other window companies, our Sales Representatives are specifically instructed NOT to use traditional pressure tactics so prominent within this industry. We will readdress this expectation with all Sales Representatives as a result of this feedback. Because of this partnership approach, Apex Energy Solutions has installed over 600 homes since our inception in the Twin Cities metro area in 2008. From reading the anonymous comment posted, this was a complex job that clearly presented challenges due to the nature, type and size or the windows. Very large, oversized windows often require special engineering. Significant time was spent working with the engineering department to address the challenges this installation presented, and this did cause delays in the installation. We will work to make this process even faster for our customers in the future. Also, apparently two windows were cracked in transit and needed replacing plus our installer selected the wrong trim color by mistake for the exterior trim wrap. Stress cracks can occasionally occur in transit simply because we are transporting glass. We of course replace these windows. Selecting the wrong trim coil color RARELY happens and unfortunately this happened to this particular homeowner, which we deeply regret. We will work on making sure this decision process is double-checked with the homeowner in the future. In summary, each installation is unique and many if not most go through with little need for adjustment or modification. Some, like this one, however present unique challenges and we will work through the issues as quickly and professionally as possible to minimize homeowner inconvenience and frustration. We deeply regret this homeowner was not satisfied with our sincere dedicated effort to rectify the issues at hand and will work even harder in the future to delight homeowners, even under the most difficult installation circumstances.
