"Thank you for taking the time and effort to post your positive review of American Rare Coin. We're always delighted to hear how we are doing from our customers. And yes, we do have long and deep coin and bullion experience. In fact, we have over 200 years of numismatic experience on staff! Thanks again [Member Name Removed]. "Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. We hope to see you at American Rare Coin again soon!"
"Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for American Rare Coin and especially for your visit to our Bloomington showroom location. It is often where we can be much more specific as to the value of one's coins when we can actually see and physically evaluate the coin(s). Doing so allows us to assign a much better grade based upon the condition of the coin. Thanks again for your visit and we hope to see you again soon! Matt Abbott President, American Rare Coin"

Best regards, Matthew Abbott President American Rare Coins"

"Thank you for review [member name] and for visiting American Rare Coin. I'm glad we could be of service to your daughter and to facilitate the purchase of your mother's silver dollar collection. Nice. Thank you too for recommending us to your friend. Hopefully we'll see you again soon at another Edina Women's Federated luncheon; one our staff recently attended your benefit over the holidays. He was quite impressed! Sincerely, Matthew Abbott President American Rare Coin"

"[removed member name]- Thank you for taking time out of your day to write a review of your experience with us at American Rare Coin. It was a pleasure serving you and we hope to see you again and the future. Thanks for visiting American Rare Coin! Matthew Abbott President"
He was curt and aloof. I tried to draw him out of his snit but he seemed happy to be 'above it all'. I even asked him how he got interested in coin collecting thinking that might garner some friendly conversation.
He did nothing to make me feel welcome or inspire me to learn more about coin collecting.
He was cranky about having to garden for 5 hours before coming to work. I shared my love for gardening but that did little to warm his iciness. He will never know my horticulture background but I would have been happy to discuss my expertise.
I am employed by a large MN organization and when asked about my work I gush with all the data I can provide. How I got interested, what a person can do to pursue varied areas of study to join such a marvelous place and the like. I want them to love what I love.
He did not inspire me to do any of that. I left not giving a whit about coins nor wanting to spend any time learning about them.
"On behalf of all of us and as President of American Rare Coin please accept my sincere apologies and thanks for taking the time to address your experience with us – unfortunate as it was in this case. Your experience is not acceptable nor is it to our high standards. We strive to understand the importance of connecting with our customers every day. Our (continuous) in-house training always focuses on serving the customer in a dignified and courteous manner. The customer experience is foremost – it is what matters - the business transaction itself is a distant second. If we do it right “the numbers” will take care of themselves and people are not numbers. Thank you again for your frank review – I can assure you that we take your sentiments to heart and we view it as an opportunity for us to address and revisit those areas where we can do better. Thank you. Matthew Abbott, President of American Rare Coin"
"[member name removed], Thank you for the positive review. It is truly our goal to provide all of our customers with the very best service possible. Thanks again and please come back soon."
"Hi [member name removed], We have a seasoned staff with many years of professional numismatic experience. Glad we could help!"
"Hi [member name removed], we wish we could have paid you more. We recognize that some dealers do not provide the best value upfront and that is why we post the rates we pay on our website CoinsOnLine.com. This way customers like you can see what we pay compared to the competition. We are happy you sold your items at American Rare Coin and Collectibles, but we are equally happy for you. Thank you for your business."
