Walters acquired me as a customer from LePage in 2020, where I had a 3 year price guarantee that started November 2020. After a year, Walters started increasing my price without advance notice. This quickly got out of control, going as high as a 91.8% year-over-year increase! Overall, my bill increased 140% in a 2 year time period. This is much higher than inflation, which has only topped out at 8.6%. Walters is price gouging on an essential service – this is indisputable. When I contacted Walters, they gave me a line about their costs going up and offered me a $7 quarterly discount. They wouldn’t budge to make any reasonable concession in pricing, even though I offered to pay an inflation adjusted price from my original billing. When I was transferred to a supervisor, he was conveniently out of the office. I had a similar experience with Walters when I was with them previously. At that time, they admitted that they automatically increase their customers’ bills after a year. This is a disgusting, unethical practice and results in bills that raise endlessly. NEVER use Walters. Their pricing tactics are predatory and unethical. Walters should lose their trash hauler license in C*** Rapids due to their unethical business pricing practices on an essential service. I have left Walters and gone to another provider who was willing to provide a reasonable price.

After a few start-up kinks, things were worked out. Customer service reps were ALL incredibly friendly and professional. I have no complaints. Look forward to a long time garbage relationship. :)

They come every Friday to collect the garbage. They are reliable.

They pick up our trash and I've never had a problem with them.

They've always been on time. They're affordable or we wouldn't use them. They've always been courteous and easy to work with.

Aside from fair cost of their services, I feel I should commend Walters on their customer service as well. They've been providing us refuse removal since they took over Red Arrow a short while back. Our property recently under went a large project which displaced our dumpster for roughly a month. I had to call the office several times concerning the temporary placement of the dumpster and the new permanent placement of the dumpster in addition to a few other logistical details. Aside from being able to talk to a real person every time, each one of them represented Walters exceedingly well, especially Mary and Brian.
If you are looking to switch up your utilities services, I strongly suggest you check out if Walter's can be of service to you.

They're good and cheap. They're always right on time.

They are very dependable and offers a reasonable time. They come on scheduled time and their billing service is well organized. I will continue to use them for their excellent performance.

With a rental property, the trash volume can fluctuate, especially when tenants move on. Walters has always provided good service. They pick up everything, they roll the cans back into place. In recent years, they started offering yard waste pickup, which I love. No more hauling the leaves to the municipal compost.

They are very good, and the price is reasonable. They are very accommodating if you have something extra that doesn't fit in the bin. If you forget to put the bin out, the driver will come up and get it.

I have no complaints against them; they do a great job. They are punctual.

Their price is a lot better than our previous trash collection. They were prompt in getting the new cans out to us for pick up. I am not sure if anyone has ever complained about this. They all want you to pay a couple months in advance and if you cancel your garbage service in the middle of the service they won't refund your money. It doesn't seem fair that they keep your money if you cancel service before you use all of it. This is just a general complaint it seems to be with all the trash collection companies now.

They are very quick, I have no complaints.I have two garbage cans with them and it's 120 dollars a month. The price is a little high I would say. T

They're not fussy about things and they're nice to work with.

I was referred to them by a friend. I have found them to be easy to work with when I need something new for recycling or brush removal. They help me get rid of large amounts of things.

After using Waste Management the past 5 years I have been pleasantly surprised by the service I've received and the friendliness of Walter's employees. They have been great to work with and even take a few extra bags on occasion without nickle and diming me. Plus, they are locally based so if you have a question or issue they are easy to get in touch with and highly responsive.

They take anything. They don't complain or leave notes saying they can't take anything. Their prices are very reasonable.

They have been so nice when I call - very friendly and nice. I paid ahead and because I did so they gave me a month free of service. They are very timely and, once when I was late taking my trash out, the crew came back to pick it up - very impressive. Their prices are competitive with the other companies in the area, but their service is much better. I feel like we are working with people, as opposed to a big corporation. I highly recommend them.

Walters is a very reliable company that will take some items that do not fit into the dumpster. Their yard waste container program is excellent and well worth the price.
