I had two posters that I purchased in the nineties and stuck in plain black frames.  The posters had faded somewhat - but are no longer available - so I was looking to preserve them.  On my first visit to Joe, I knew I had made the right choice in framers.  He offers suggestions without being pushy.  Takes the time to show you different alternatives.  And is so patient!  I never felt rushed in making my selection - and I looked at several alternatives because I'm one of those people that has a hard time visualizing the final result.  He made sure I understood the alternatives available in matting and glass, showing me examples of both.  
I made my selection and Joe was working up the invoice - when my eye caught a frame I hadn't originally seen.  I was immediately drawn to the frame and when we put it with the posters - I knew it was the one.  It was a bit unconventional, but I immediately loved it.  No problem - he worked up a new invoice.  It turns out that the frame I selected was a difficult one to cut.  The framing material kept arriving warped - and he had to order it three times to get pieces that would work.  The vendor did not credit him for the warped pieces and Joe honored his original invoice price.
The finished result is stunning and I'm so pleased!  I really appreciated Joe's expertise and his going above and beyond to get the materials right to ensure the quality of the final result.   If you are looking for quality framing, look no further than Joe!   You will not be disappointed.  His prices are more than reasonable and you get all the personalized attention you need without feeling like you're being a pain!   Thanks Joe!

Was recommended to JB Framing by a friend so I emailed JB Framing and had a response within 24 hours to setup an appointment at the shop.  We went over about as many framing options as possible for my four pieces of art getting framed/reframed.  Joe is extremely knowledgeable regarding framing materials and will lead you in the right direction.  A few weeks later, I was called letting me know my frame jobs were completed.  I picked them up and couldn't have been more amazed. All pieces were framed with archival materials.

Joe is an hidden gem of a framer in the Twin Cities. He's a retireed veteran who has a fantastic framing shop in an extra garage behind his home in Blaine. He's an art collector himself and treates your piece as if it was one of his own. His prices are 15-20% lower than other Framing shops in the metro (i've checked). I've had him do 15 framing jobs for me and  I've been pleased with every single one of them. He has a vast selection of molding and mats and he carries the entire line of Tru Vue glass. He builds everything by hand and always has my frames done within 3 weeks.
Joe always helpes me select the proper molding, mats, and glass to work within my budget . He will give you a printed out quote before starting any work so you know exactly what your bill will be when you pick up your finished piece. He answeres emails and phone calls and is availabe at night and on the weekends. You can't beat that!
