Furnace went out on a cold day, they came out very timely and got our furnace running again. Great service and reasonable!

The crew was on time and worked very quickly. They were neat and professional and courteous. The heating system works great, nice even heat, can't wait until summer to try out the AC.

Everything was great. I was having problems with my NEST thermostat and the gentleman who came to the house was very helpful in showing me that my issues was in fact a defective thermostat and not my AC Condenser.

John McChesney came highly recommended by one of my co-workers, so I contacted him to get a quote on a new heating and air conditioning system.  He was on time for the meeting (though I was late) and waited patiently for me to get off work and return home.  He took the time to explain our options, and what his system would need to switch to 96% efficiency.  He quoted out the entire system at a fraction of the competitors, in fact it was so reasonable I asked him to switch out the ancient water heater as well.  I did a lot of research about the unit itself, a goodman product, and found that it did not have a ton of positive reports online from consumers.  When I dug a little further, the bad reports about the goodman product all stemmed from installation issues and not from the product itself.  John came to us as a referral, and John has been recommended to me by several of his peers as outstanding in his field.  I went ahead with the furnace and a/c, and the water heater too.  I will also be using him for a garage heater this winter, and he took the time to point out what I should do before we completed our house renovations to insure we would be ready to go when we made the purchase.  The crew arrived on time, and professionally completed all aspects of the installation; offering solutions to everything we needed, and an outstanding price.  They completed the full installation of all of the units within 1 day, and they are outstanding.  I cannot overstate how much of a great job John and his crew did, from start to finish.  John is highly recommended in the region, and our experience with him only reiterates everything we heard.  I received an invoice for exactly what was quoted, and when I asked him to move a couple of the drain lines from where they were installed, he stopped by first thing in the a.m. and changed it up.  That kind of service and the overall experience makes him an easy choice for me to recommend, and we will definitely use him in the future!

New energy efficient furnace was installed by 4pm the same day.  Crew was professional and clean and job completed at quoted price.

He is very honest and he would not tell you to do any work that you don’t really need to have done. I would trust him with that. I wouldn’t use any other heating and air conditioning guy.

He Came In The Middle Of The Night For A Gas Leak, Was A HugE Lifesaver And Had Our Furnace Fixed Very Quickly. Will Be Going To Him For Any Future needs

First they were on time.  Then they great job cleaning vents while carefully avoiding to dirty the carpets.

I called at about 9:00 in the morning and John called me back within 15 minutes.

He said he could be here a little later the same day. He arrived at around 11:00 and had our problem fixed by noon.

That is excellent service that rates an A in my book. Because it is finally hot outside I expected to have to wait for a while. But John showed up quickly and was very professional and knowledgeable.

I have a new radiant system to install in my new steel building and will use McChesneys to do that for me also.

They were awesome. They came over within twenty minutes of my phone call and fixed my problem. I got them out of a phonebook. I called them up. They assessed it over the phone. They didn’t know that there was a dead critter in there. My impression about them was very good. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Outdoor wood boiler sprung a water leak when it was -25 degrees. Had to switch over to propane in house. Needed a quick cleaning of the furnace. They were here within 2 hours, which was a blessing. The fan motor decided to go out at same time. This was replaced. Next morning they came out and fixed the leak on the wood stove. All work was done in a timely fashion and very much appreciated.

On 11/13/12 I did a search in Angie's list for Heating and Air Conditioning.  I chose McChesney's Heating and Air Conditioning by the name, because I recognized the family name.  Also it was within 8 miles from my home.  Mr. McChesney said he could be at my home by approximately noon, and he arrived at exactly 12:00 noon.  He was a pleasure to work with because of his easy-going and helpful personality.  I had many questions, and he answered them all in relatable terms.    He gave me an excellent price on a furnace and installed it the next day.  I highly recommend McChesney Heating Heating and Air Conditioning.
