We love working with Chad! He is very knowledgeable (I always have a lot of questions and he took the time to answer all of them). He is courteous, professional and does his best to respond as promptly as possible. I absolutely love the look of the roof and gutter, and the quality of the work that was done was very good. After the job was completed, Chad went up on the roof again to ensure that nothing was missed. I actually found Lofgren Construction on Angie's List while doing research on other companies that put up signs in the neighborhood. I also looked at the Minnesota Better Bureau website. We feel that Chad deserves his A rating. We have already asked him to do another project for us and have asked him to estimate another job for a family member.

Chad from Lofgren construction came out and gave us a bid on tearing off our garage roof and installing a new one.  We agreed to his price and he brought some samples out for our approval.
He scheduled the work for the next Wednesday.  His crew was on site on Wednesday and they finished the roof in one afternoon.  Clean up was great!!  Chad came out and looked at job and we had one complaint about some trim near the door, which was minor  but he told us it would be fixed the next day.
Chad was a very down to earth and personable guy. he did what he said he was going to do and we would definitely use his company again.

They did a good job. I have no complaints about their price and they showed up on time as well.

I'm a general contractor and Chad is one of the best I've worked with in the more than 30 years I've been remodeling homes. He has worked on several projects for me as a subcontractor, and most recently I hired him to work on my own home. I've never worked with anyone who has such a broad range of experience and skills. He works to the highest standards, never cuts corners, is reliable and honest, and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of construction.  I can't say enough good things about him, and if he starts getting too busy to work for me after getting good reviews I'm going to kick myself for ever saying anything nice about him.

They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and completed all work in a day and a half. They checked the insulation levels in the rest of the house finding them below current code. They worked with another company on the insulation of the roof. These people also did a good job and I hired them to blow in insulation for the rest of the house.

Chad came in late July to measure. He knew the bay could be problematic, as he had examined the window previously, and brought a Marvin rep with him along with another contractor. They spent at least an hour measuring and remeasuring. When the Marvin rep let Chad know that the window was going to be difficult to cut to specifications they both returned and measured again attempting to assess how the work could be done. The window was again ordered from Marvin.

It took until early November for the window to arrive, but when it did, Chad and Tim were there promptly to begin installation. They estimated the work would take the better part of a week, and since I had worked with them previously I was comfortable in coming and going with my usual schedule.

Both Chad and Tim are very very conscientious and meticulous workers. The bay was more difficult that the bedroom window to install, but I believe they had it done in three days or less. What I also really appreciate about these two is how carefully the finishing work is done. The staining of the woodwork and window seat in the bay is perfect and looks almost identical to the old except the finish is so clean! Chad also consulted extensively with me about the change in color of the frame of the window, making sure that it was white that I wanted, which I did in attempt to modernize the look of the room, but yet blending with the 80s dark wood decor. It looks great!

I will hire Chad again in a heartbeat and in fact will be doing some reroofing and installing new skylights in a three season porch in 2012. We have already consulted extensively on this.

When they were done with the windows Chad returned about 2 weeks later and reinstalled a roof heating unit on the edge of above mentioned porch. He has attempted several times to reseal the skylights to no avail. Since he is out ideas, I am trusting that the perfectly good roof is going to have to be removed and new installation installed with the skylights to prevent the ice dams/leakage in the porch which I have been experiencing for a few years. I am looking forward to working with Chad and Tim again.

This was one of the most professional companies with which I have ever dealt. I was given his number by a friend and he called me before I called him. Their work was impeccable. They were fast and efficient. After the window installation, they installed new molding around the windows which matched the rest in the room perfectly. They repaired a small crack in the wall which occured when they removed the largest windows. I had paint and Chad applied that perfectly. I think he would have repainted the whole room if I had let him! Clean up was fantastic! This work was all completed inside and out in spite of 15 inches of snow which had fallen 4 days before. Chad lives in Big Lake about 25 miles from me, but I would highly recommend his company to anyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area as I am sure he would make the effort to get to you.
