"It was clearly stated on our proposal that was signed for approval by the member that "cool cash rebates are good for system purchases.....Systems must be installed no later than November 30, 2008 with rebates claimed via online or toll free number by December 15, 2008." After talking to our Carrier supplier there is no record that anyone has filed online nor called. This is something that we cannot control and is an incentive given specifically by Carrier. If the customer didn't submit the claim or was late in submitting, that is not our fault as it was clearly stated on the signed proposal that is was the member's responsibility to file the claim. At this point, the member had modified our original agreement and has decided not to pay us our remaing $1,000 due to his procrastination in filing for the rebate. This is criminal activity and we will collect legally. As for Mr. Peterson, I cannot accept nor deny if the member has called him and/or if Mr. Peterson has called the member. However, if the member fees he needs to insult anyone, he should call me personally as I am the president of Peterson Sheet Metal. Orville Peterson has retired from the company. We finally received a final payment of $500 (after waiting 14 months) from the member and as far as Peterson Sheet Metal is concerned, this matter was settled to the best interest of both parties."
