Quoted me 1 price, billed my credit card double the quoted price. I called them and they came up with some excuses....took more time than expected, etc.

Greg came and spent almost two hours giving us an estimate, along with different options, and prices. After deciding on ductless a/c, the installers came early the next week, and in less than a day we had a cool house! Greg has called to make sure everything is working to our satisfaction. We will definitely use Hill's Plumbing and Heating again

It was a little difficult to pin the Service guy down in the beginning to get a date when his guys could come out, and I had to give him my CC info over the phone before he would talk to me about the repair. Once he had that info, I waited for two weeks without any idea when or if he was gonna have his guys out, so I called him back up, we set the date for them to come out. I was pretty impressed with his guys, they showed up right on time, did the job, fully tested everything, made recommendations for preventing it from happening again, pretty much what I look for in a vendor on site doing a job. Afterwards, the labor looked to be billed twice as long as they were originally here, but the service guy told me they had to include the time spent at the warehouse picking up the supplies needed for the,and while I don't think I should have to pay for that portion or work, whatever, I was happy with the job and happy to stay warm this year.
I would use these guys again as they are OK, nothing spectacular, but I don't expect much either.

"The ductboard that was needed for this project was a special order item that our supplier did not have in stock. Special order items require a down payment due to the fact these items can't be returned. Once the materials were received we tried to accomodate an schedule that would work with John. Unlike most companies that have flat rate pricing, we estimated this project higher than what was billed out on a time & material basis. Our time starts when we are loading and preparing for the job until we arrive back at our shop. It is our goal to make sure all of our customers are completely satisfied with the quality of workmanship. We appreciate your comments. Thank you!"
