Anderson Windows and Doors were way too expensive and their salesmanship was pushy. They were punctual. Actually we signed the contract and then rescinded after seeing the price quoted. It was too much to be spending on a window. I would recommend anybody who is considering them to get other quotes before deciding on this company because their price is really high. Based on the price, I would not be using them again in the future.

The windows look great for the first few years then some became stained and damaged on the bottom and side bead next to the glass itself. The seal between the glass and the clear finished wood was not done correctly on all the windows. All of the sashes that are the same size 24" x 32" have a problem while smaller and lager sashes are ok. Andersen said this is do to excessive condensation but if this was true than all windows would be effected not just the 24 x 32's.

We picked out the door and they gave me a price estimate. The time he thought they might have to cut the header and because of that it would cost another $300 in installation fees. I asked them if they didn't have to cut the header if it would be $300 less and they said yes. When I signed the contract I didn't have them write that in. The installation was very good, but the final bill did not include subtracting for not having to make the header bigger. When I questioned it they took off half of what I was expecting.
