Their prices are reasonable they explain to you what is going on with your pets and what needs to be done. When we take our pets our wait time in the lobby is usually 5-10 minutes. He's a very good doctor and very knowledgeable he even trains new vets from the college nearby.

First, I need to note that, other than being older and a little weak in his backend, he was happy and healthy prior to this situation. He still played and showed excitement towards his favorite people at home. I specifically asked this facility to contact me if anything was needed/concerns and informed them that they had my permission to do anything they felt was needed as he was older. When we arrived to pick him up, they carried him out on a sheet as he was unable to even stand. He was not alert and in obvious distress. He was brought back in, given IV fluids, and blood tests taken (which were supposed to have already been done as part of his exam due to his age). I was told by a vet tech while waiting that he had not eaten or drank AT ALL while he was there. Yet no one called me. After the IV finished, he seemed slightly more alert and we brought him home pending the blood test results. I was told the results would be back the next day. I called about his results the next day, was told they were not back yet, and they would call regardless before they closed. They closed and no one called. I spoke to the vet that evening as he had started to decline rapidly. I was informed that his results were actually in and looked very good. My assumption is that he was in shock due to dehydration and, because it had continued for such an extended period and his age, he was unable to recover. I ended up having him euthanized that following morning in our home. I can only imagine how those 5 days were while he was there and it breaks my heart. Please be careful wherever you choose to board your pets. All I want is for no one else to suffer and end in such an undignified was as he did.

Every once in a while they rotate in veterinary techs, but the ones who have been there are fantastic.

We like their price structure and their customer service is wonderful. They care about your pet and call you on the weekends to check on the pet. I've been really impressed with them.

We take both of our dogs to this clinic and we really like them ... Fantastic with great service.

I called when they opened and asked if they could do a urinalysis on my dog, who showed all the signs of having a bladder infection. They said they could not give an app't, but if I brought her over, they would fit her in. The doctor examed her at 10:30. No one called to tell me. All day we stayed home, thinking we'd hear from the vet. Nothing. Finally after they had closed I called and got a machine. In a little while I got a call back. In all this time they had done no urinalysis and had no answer about whether she had an infection. And the doctor wanted to do more tests or have us bring her back in. (When my husband had been there previously, it seemed the doctor was also trying to sell him services not asked for, for his cat with end-stage cancer.) We decided we were sure enough that the dog had a bladder infection, and since they didn't confirm it, we just wanted the pills to treat her accordingly.The vet warned it could be all kinds of other things we really should check for, but did give us the pills.
We were charged for an exam, the pills, and keeping her all day! But the only reason we brought her in was to get a urinalysis, which they never did. We never wanted our dog there all day and no one communicated that they hadn't done what we asked. Instead we sat around waiting to hear from them and then were handed a hundred-dollar charge without the essential question, does she have a bladder infection, answered.
I don't want to be pitched extra services, I want to be communicated with, and I want more than 1 vet in an office so that if one doesn't have time for my pet, another one does. I also want a better-run office where the requests are better communicated and we don't wait all day for a phone call that doesn't come. Though we know it was a hectic day and perhaps an unusual circumstances for them with less staffing than usual, we were sufficiently discouraged that we are unlikely to go back. For us, this was not a good fit.

We have known the vet for a long time. We trust them and we have used them for a long time.

We've used Dr. Hunt for veterinary care for our dogs for about 15 years. He and his staff are great with the animals (and their owners). He checks everything thoroughly, keeps good records, and is easy to talk to. I bring my kids with me whenever I take our dog in and Dr. Hunt always includes them in the conversation.
We had a dog that we had to put to sleep a few years ago and he spent a lot of time with us, our kids and our dog. It was a hard thing to do but he helped us through it.
We've also boarded a dog and had a dog neutered and were happy with those services as well. I've had a lot of pets and been to a lot of vets over the years and Palomino Pet Clinic is by far the best. It's a nice clinic and I highly recommend it.

The vet and staff are very professional and personable. They are always willing to take the time that I need to understand and have always helped with whatever I've brought up. He has extensive knowledge and experience with animal care and keeps up with new discoveries in veterinary medicine.

We've seen Dr. Hunt for the past 7 years for routine check-ups and vaccinations of our cats. He's always provided exceptional care, but we learned what a great vet he was when we had to put one of our tabbies down. Dr. Hunt and Steve were kind and patient. They gave us all of our options for treatment but were up-front with the reality that our cat was terminally ill. It was an extremely hard time, but the staff at Palomino Pet Hospital made things as easy as they could.
