Description of Work: I brought in an old (30 yr) sewing machine to have it looked over because I wanted to be sure it worked before giving it to a friend who was just beginning to learn to sew. Before the work was done, I asked if it would be better to buy a cheap new machine instead of paying $100 to have mine looked over/fixed, if needed . The person at the store said no...it would be better to use mine because the motor, etc. would be way better than anything that is put in any of the cheap new ones. My friend is now very satisfied with the result and is quite happy with the machine. I was very happy with the person who helped me...very knowledgeable and took time to explain features of some of the newer machines that I asked about. (maybe someday!)

Description of Work: They tuned up my sewing machine. They sent out my sewing machine and fixed what I had problems with the sewing machine. But they also buffed the sewing plate which was a bonus. I didn't mentioned my sewing plate had a needle mark, but when it came back all smooth. I know I can trust them to tune up my sewing machine again.

Description of Work: I brought my sewing machine in for repair because a knob had broken off. They fixed it and gave the whole machine a once over and when I got it back, it worked better than it has in years.
