Service was good... but, had to come back to seal the distillation pump.

My Nest Thermostat was not getting power and I did not have heat. Paul was the first available w/ the lowest service fee. He said we needed a 5 wire cable from the furnace to the thermostat but only had only a 4 wire. He said he could run a new wire on the spot and I agreed to the $750 cost. He did the work in less than an hour and used about 15ft of wire. Then he told me that I needed a new furnace and there was a blinking indicator consistent with a known issue and he gave a quote. The blinking indicator was present before he came and ran the new wire. After he left the furnace kicked itself off again and the nest lost power, again. I do need a new furnace but I am out $750 for less than an hour of work and still have a cold house. I am looking for a reputable co. now. I have now asked other companies what they would charge for the same work and the price is 1/3. The quote from Paul also seems to be on the high end. Be careful of people trying to take advantage of you. There are supply issues, utility prices are going up but you still deserve a square deal.

Air Knights contacted me right away. Said they could be at my home between 10am and 1pm. Paul arrived at 11:15 and found out the circuit board had gone bad. He had a refurbished one with him for $200 less than a new board. I agreed to go with the refurbished board. He installed the board, the furnace fired up. We had heat and Paul was on his way by 11:45. Very pleased with the service.

He charged our compressor and after he left it would cut in and out so he returned and adjusted the pressure and it worked perfectly. Great attitude and responsive. I will use them again.

We just hired them to fix our Central AC. We just came back from a trip and our carpet in the basement was soaked. We figured out that it was the AC. I called them and they came out the next day. My husband could have fixed it, but his job piled up on him and asked me to just take care of it. I think the guyâ s name was James? He was super nice and fixed it in a bout an hour. All that needed to be done was the line needed to be blown out. There was so much gunk in there, that it caused the line to leak. He fixed it and told me how to prevent future problems. It only cost me $60 with the Angi coupon. They also install new AC units which we might end up doing soon since our unit is very old. Will definitely use this company again!ð

I was very impressed Air Knights was able to provide immediate air conditioner service after calling on Saturday morning at it was fixed within a couple of hours. My original service provider scheduled me out 2 weeks.

Pavel from Air Knights Heating and Cooling came to look at our A/C because it was not working. He looked at the unit and charged it with freon but never went inside to see if there was a leak or check the furnace. We were charged $700. A couple weeks later, we went to use the A/C and it wasnt working. Pavel came back to our home and said we had a leak from the condenser and the motherboard was bad. Then, he looked at the condenser and it was rusty. He told us the furnace and AC should be replaced. We had another company do the replacement of the furnace and air conditioner and they said there was a leak in the outside unit too (We videotaped it). The service man could not believe he charged us $700. He said that Pavel had to have known there was a leak and absolutely should have gone to look in the basement at the furnace during the first trip.

Quick response but provided an estimate and evaluation that other contractors strongly disagreed with!

The technician that came out the same day I called was very professional and got right to the task at hand. Made me feel I had made the right choice in hiring them. I felt the price was well worth the job done. I will not hesitate to hire them again if need be. Thank you guys! Job well done !

During our July 4th, 2021 heat wave, wouldn't you know my A/C quit working! I called around on the evening of June 30th, after checking some ratings of A/C repair cos working in the Maple Grove area. It seemed no one was able to help, on an emergency service (spouse has COPD) until I called Air Knights, 612 314-8886, after hours. This was at night, and James from Air Knights came out the next morning, added like 6 lbs of freon (which included a sealant) to my 15 year old condenser, and within minutes the air in the house started to cool. We were up and running again, after an inexpensive service call, and a good price on the freon. Unfortunately, a few days later, over the weekend of the 4th of July, it leaked out all the freon again, indicating a leak too big for the sealant to contain. I called again on Sunday night, and James came out again (after cutting his 4th of July holiday short) on Monday and got me up and running, at no charge until they could install a replacement condenser and new A coil in the furnace. This was all completed, pressure tested and good to go on July 6th. I was so impressed with the service, equipment installed, and overall performance of Paul, Julia & ESPECIALLY JAMES, that I also arranged for them to install a new furnace in September. Free 18 mo financing no less! Would have given more stars if allowed! THANK YOU Air Knights for going above and beyond, during a hectic time because of a heat wave + high humidity. My parents' air conditioning went out during a string of 90 degree temps. I called on a Saturday afternoon and James was there Sunday morning to diagnose the problem. He was back on Monday morning with the materials and had the ac back up and running within a half hour. I highly recommend this company. Very professional and prices were reasonable! Annmarie J.

Paul with Air Knights promptly set up an appointment and arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and proceeded with the repair. The work was efficient and effective in solving the problem.

Paul arrived 2.5 hours before allotted time, knew exactly what was wrong, put in the new part and was on his way with my A/C back up and running on a 95° day within 15 minutes. He also told me how to help prevent the same thing happening again. My dogs and I were very grateful!

I can't recommend this company enough. They came out on short notice with no extra fee and the cost was less by almost $200.00 compare to others that I checked with. You will not be sorry using this company!

Quickly diagnosed and repaired the A/C issue in minutes on one of the hottest days. A/C has worked great ever since. I highly recommend Air Knights!
