I, Pete Lovell, started Veteran Movers LLC after working for other companies for nearly 12 years.I then decided it was time to start my own company. Using the tools I learned, hearing from customers what they felt was liked and what frustrated them about moving companies.For instance, getting an inaccurate estimate, showing up to the job late due to overbooking, treating personal belongings poorly. I started the business with my tax return in 2012. I decided we, one other mover and I, we're going to do the best job possible, offering people honest estimates and kind consideration regardless if it didn't always get us the job. I understand that moving is one of the most stressful times in a persons life. We take pride and compassion in every move we do. Remaining honest and true in our beliefs. As a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving 1991-1999 I named the company Veteran Movers. I also offer veterans preferred opportunity to join our team and i guarantee there will be at least 10 years of experience on every job . We are proud to offer 20% discount to fellow veterans and there families. We only service the state of Minnesota and immediate border cities only. This was the first time we used Veteran Movers. We were so incredibly pleased with the flexibility, service and helpfulness of the crew. Pete and Sal were amazing, and they greatly reduced our stress level and anxiety. Pete and Sal were the best movers I have ever used. Extremely professional, patient and went the extra mile. They helped me dispose of a couple items I had no time to dispose. Last minute they took down our trampoline and helped me store it. They are careful, kind and professional. Excellent movers.

The owner, Pete Lovell was excellent ,whenever we call or send them an email they got back to us immediately. Price was excellent. His co-worker, Salvador was excellent, they have wonderful personalities, easy to talk to, no damages made, they were very professional. They are top-notch. They were on time, handles our stuff with care. They were fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had 22 years worth of living in our old house and ended up having it brought over to our new house. Dave and his crew were amazing. We had over 200 bins/boxes. It took 3 days to get everything we wanted to move over, packing a 26 foot truck twice and a 20 footer once. Considering the amount of stuff, Dave's crew was amazing! Nothing was damaged in the move! There were lots of pictures and breakable glassware, but everything made it intact! ... And it was a pleasure doing business the "crew" and it ended up costing less than the estimate.

Hired Veteran Movers twice, once for a move from an apartment to a new apartment across the street and then a second time for a larger move from an apartment to home. I couldn't recommend them enough. The owner Pete was super responsive and great to work with. The team he brought was friendly, professional and took great care of my possessions. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future and definitely would recommend them to anyone!

They were fantastic. Went above and beyond what we expected. The estimate process was individual, accurate, and complete. Options were available to add boxes to the furniture if we desired. The move came off without a hitch. Done in very good time. Pete was the main contact, came right on time, and did exactly what he said he would do. The crew working with him for the actual move were polite, friendly and worked hard. They took beds apart and put them back together at the new place. There were no surprises.

I hired Veteran Movers to move furniture out of a 1 bedroom apartment. The move went very well. The movers arrived on time, and the move was completed quickly and professionally. There was no damage, and the team was pleasant to work with. The pricing was very reasonable. They even extended a veteran's discount to me based on my parent's veteran status (it was my mother's apartment). I would hire this group again.

They cancelled 2 days before the move. I booked them a month in advance because of how hard it is to find movers at the end of the month. Now, because I cant shop for a good price. He sent me a couple of other moving companies. Now, I get to pay TWICE what i was going to because of NO NOTICE. DO NOT USE. I will not recommend this company and will make sure nobody I know will use this company.

Due to 2 team members becoming ill and did not want to expose customer or his family to the virus. Our sincere apology was expessed. We also connected the customer to another moving company we know that does good work to help them out. We are happy to report everyone is symptom free and healthy. Pete and his team were fantastic and professional! They arrived before their scheduled 8am and were ready to go when they got there. We had a three man team working on the move out. While two of them worked on disassembling and wrapping furniture, the other hauled our packed boxes out to the truck. They were very careful moving our large furniture down three flights of stairs with very tight corners. Everything was wrapped and covered in moving pads so as to not cause any damage. I have a treasured antique dresser that they took very good care of as well! We were out of our house in just a couple of hours and the move in was just as easy and quick. The rain had picked up so Pete stepped in to help so they could have two guys inside staying dry and keeping our floors free of dirt (we were moving into a first floor apartment across wet/muddy grass). The guys quickly had our furniture reassembled and all in place where we wanted it. It was quite the feat going from 2200 sqft to 1000 sqft. The entire move was 4 1/2 hours and they all had great attitudes and were a pleasure to have in our home. Thanks for making moving day a lot more fun! I will be reaching out to them again when we are ready for our next move! Veteran Movers rocks!!

Veteran Movers were excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them. The 3 gentlemen who moved us arrived exactly on time. They carefully wrapped all of my mom's furniture as needed efficiently in less time than I would have ever anticipated. As we discovered more things that needed to be included in the move the crew adjusted cheerfully with a can do attitude. We considered hiring other movers that were higher priced and better known but they did not contact us promptly. Owner Pete communicated with me as needed reconfirming scheduling which helped to put my mind at ease that everything would go smoothly the day of the move and it did. Thank you again for a great job. This was an important day and you helped to make it go smoothly.

The crew was great! 4 man team with a coordinator that chipped in a decent amount as well (we weren't charged for his help). The movers were on time, courteous, and took excellent care to pack our things with care and deliver them safe & sound to our new home. The guys worked hard and efficiently, coming in under the estimated time-frame I received from our initial walkthrough. I selected them based on their high rating on Angie's List and their competitive pricing. I also like their mission of supporting veterans. I've had good moves and bad ones, and this certainly ranks at or near the top. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company.
