It was good.

We had a sudden leak occur through our bathroom vent on Saturday (May 19) from the torrential rain.  On Sunday, we sent an e-mail message to Dave at Trendsetter through Angies List.  Dave called me first thing Monday morning.  We set up a time on Wednesday to look at the leak.  Dave was there ahead of time and had already been on the roof looking at the situation.  He was very courteous and provided the information we needed to understand what caused the leak. He then described  / showed me how to fix it (about $15 in supplies ) and said if we wanted hime to do it., he would be happy to, just let him know.  He was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I would definitely call on him again for any other roof work I would need.

They were easy to work with and did what they said they would and more. They were always prompt and concise about what was happening throughout the process. They were very helpful to make money saving recommendations and alternatives up front so I was able to get more with my money. I can't say enough about them and have already referred them to several others. It is great knowing there are honest and hard working compainies still:-)

 Dave came out 2x on the same day to take a look at my garage water leakage issue. Even though he said he could not fix the flooding issue, he did say he could put garage gutters on my garage as a first step. I am trying some other things before calling him for the gutters, but he was reliable and professional and seemed to know a lot about my issue.

When I first called Trend Setter Homes to set up an appointment for a quote, I was pleased at not only how friendly the person was on the phone, was but how excited they were to be talking to me as a potential client.  We had already gotten three bids from other contracters that ranged from lacking the appropriate details, experience, and credentials, to overdoing it with sales pitches and high cost work with all so-called bells and whistles.    Dave Persing came prepared with all the information that we researched as being recommended to inquire about, and was very efficient in quickly gathering the information needed to compile the most comprehensive, and detailed price estimate we received.  Everyone else gave a general price range with no other details.  Dave's estimate included drawings of our roof with exact measurements, plus all the itemized costs.  He seemed to be in-tune with the idea that people want to be provided the details that matter, that they don't want to waste anyone's time, and that they respond positively to experience, integrity, honesty, and a good, kind nature.   From start to finish, it was a positive experience working with Trend Setter.  The project was amazingly completed in one day.  The crew was so professional and hardworking - we didn't see them waste a minute of time.  Dave was always reachable, and monitored the job throughout the day.  From taking care of permits to final clean up, Dave oversaw everything and it was completed to our 100% satisfaction.  The final cost remained within the quoted amount which was more than fair.  Our roof looks great, and we've received many compliments about how good it looks, and others also observed and commented on what a good job the crew did.  We were extremely pleased, and would without question use Trend Setter again for future work.  We also will recommend them to anyone else needing their services.

Dave was very honest and trustworthy. The crew worked very quickly. The quality of the work was excellent. The final price was within the estimate range. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

I used Trendsetters a couple of years ago to replace siding due to storm damage. With the wind storm we had this year, a piece that goes around my big round window came off. I called Mick and explained what happened and informed him that there were a couple of other pieces around my front door that needed to be replaced. He came over to look at the piece that came off and said no problem, he would order a piece and the other couple of pieces I needed and take care of it. He did and everything looks great.

We were scheduled to close on the house and needed to replace all shingles as part of the agreement. We wanted to to schedule the actual project as close to the close of escrow as possible to minimize any risk of replacing the shingles (at $6,000) and not closing escrow for any reason. Trend Setter was very accommodating to our request. In fact, they exceeded our expectations by a long shot. They showed up right on time and stayed on task all through the day. They completed the entire project in one day with no surprises or unexpected expense. in fact, they came in slightly less than estimated. Furthermore, they maintained a very clean and organized work site all day and upon completion. I will have no problem recommending them to my family and friends.
