Andy has been working on my vehicles for years. As with all of the repairs he has completed, this one was reasonably priced, professionally performed and promptly delivered when promised. He is easy to reach, and capable of working on domestics and imports (he has serviced my Ford, Audi and VW over the years) and I'm happy to have a trusted mechanic when I need one.

I don't have any dislikes. He is an independent, he does very good work, and he is qualified. He doesn't gouge you on prices whether it is parts or labor. It is just a good place to go all around. Mostly it is just him, but sometimes he has a helper. He is very efficient. I am actually going back this week.

Our exerience was excellent. The starter when out on my husbands work van. He needed it to pull a trailer to transport work equipment and had a deadline to complete the work that day. When we told them we would have the van towed to them, they immediately ordered the part and called that the job was done by lunch time. He picked up the vehicle, loaded his eqiupment and completed the job on time. It is an older van and they replaced the starter with a rebuilt starter and warrantied it for one year. The service was great. They went above and beyond. We'll use them when we need vehicle service again.

This is the second time I've had my Ford E-150 van serviced at Phillips. Earlier this year, I had them replace the transmission fluid and the brake fluid. I was very satisfied with that experience, so when my van had started to run roughly and I noticed that the gas mileage was dropping, I stopped in to have them check the service codes. Andy confirmed what I had already been suspecting...the old spark plugs (which had over 100,000 miles on them) were starting to cause an occasional misfire in one cylinder. I asked him to replace the plugs and wires (which also were starting to go bad) and also the fuel filter. I have a Kand N permanent air filter which hadn't been cleaned for over a year so I asked them to clean that as well. The work was completed on time...for exactly the amount quoted to me...and definitely to my satisfaction. Both Andy and Nate are very pleasant to deal with, and their labor rate is very reasonable. I never got the feeling that they were rushing me when I was asking questions. They definitely come across as knowing their stuff and they run a great little shop with the friendly, small-town atmosphere that you just can't get at one of the big-city dealerships. I hope they're around for a long time.
