The construction season was off to a late start due to a late spring. I was originally referred to other companies - many of whom didn't even bother to return my call. I called Mork Well and they actually answered the phone. I also had a bid for the work in very short order. I had the pleasure of working with Jodi and Ron who were both very helpful. Due to a small lot size and many setback requirements, we had no legal options for installing a new well. Ron worked closely with the state Department of Health to coordinate a variance so the new well could be installed. I would highly recommend Mork Well and would use them again without hesitation. Only one minor suggestion for Mork would be to better describe the condition the yard may be in after the well is drilled. They did disclose there would be damage, which I expected. Rutting and damage will happen when you run a drilling rig, which probably weights 12k pounds, across the yard. However, with this being the first well construction I've needed, I didn't realize what a mess is caused by the drilled materials. This is just part of the normal well drilling process and has nothing to do with how Mork performs their work. It would have just been another "value add" to prepare me for the mess well drilling causes.

They knew what they were doing. They tried to pull it out by hand but there was wood rot. They knew our area of Arden Hills and have run into this problem once every couple years. They had to make tools to do the job and come back another time. When they came back they were only here for the afternoon and finished up the job. They were great with communication and very kind.

I went ahead and had the pump replaced. When they took the pump out they said it looked fine no problem. They replaced it with a new one and chlorinated the well . The whole thing took 1.25 hours to do. one hour after they left the pump started doing the same thing , coming on every 1/2 hour. I called them and they told me I must have a leak in my plumbing. They are not responsible for that, and I should consult a plumber for that problem . So I spent almost 1500.00 dollars on a pump I did not need AND I still have the same problem as before.

"The original service call on 9/19/17 showed no problems in the well system & no pressure loss in the house at the time of inspection. I gave them a copy of their well record, went over the entire system and answered all their well related questions. The existing pump was 40 years old and they asked for an estimate to replace it, then scheduled to have that done on 09/28/17. Spoke to her on 10/2/17 regarding this complaint and offered to look at the system again for no charge and she declined."

Got the pump started by replacing the capacitor. The problem is that because they worked on the pump it started leaking the following day and they say that's not their problem. If I pay another service call($175) they will fix it.

We needed our entire septic system replaced. I sent bids out to 5 different companies, Mork was the first to respond! I had several questions, and Jodi, was always so quick to answer them. When the time came to chose, I selected Mork as they were considerably lower than the others. Trust me, in this case, the lower cost certainly did not mean lower service! They arrived exactly when they said they would, the gentleman that did the new system was so friendly and clearly enjoys his job. He took so much time explaining any detail I had questions on. After the new tanks and drainfield were in, he completely leveled our back yard, he even took time to fill in some low spots in our driveway for us! You will NOT be disappointed w/ Mork!!

The technicians called ahead and arrived on time. They took the time to explain what they were doing, and the steps they were going to take to diagnose the problem. Within a very short time, they found a defective check valve which was causing the problem. This was a relief as it was a much less costly fix than expected. They gave me a quote on what a new pump will cost, which is a repair we'll have to make in the near future. I will definitely be calling them to do the work.

Great service from start to finish! We had several previous estimates and were actually able to obtain an estimate from Monk just via email which was great as it saved one more visit to the house. We had an old well that had stopped working and we needed it sealed. Monk was half as expensive and available a month earlier than the other places. While we hope to never have to deal with another well, if we did we wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
