Pretty good, hoping he could have shifted door, but for price was very happy

He was late arriving, but I give that a pass, as it was New Years Day, and -20 degrees temperature. He did a great job, very quick, and he even installed a keyless pad which we didn't have one before he installed one for us. Cost of his services includes the spring repaid, a new keyless pad, and installation. We would definitely hire him again, and refer him to others.

The spring on my smaller garage door broke last night. I found Mike on Angie's List and after reading the reviews, decided to call him. He was at my house no more than 4 hours later. The repair only took less than 30 minutes. He was very friendly, confident and knowledgeable.

Very nice gentleman. Came over the same afternoon of the day I called. Fixed the problem within probably less than half an hour. Very reasonably priced. No trip charge, just charged for sensors and labor.

All of the positive reviews of Mike's work are accurate. This is the second time we have had hired Mike ( first was door install) and will continue to do so going forward. He is very professional, courteous, prompt, and reasonable. He showed up when promised, gave us honest opinions and options, and performed the work as promised. A big thank you to Angie's list for helping us find such an awesome overhead garage door contractor!

Came on Saturday despite having a Monday appt. scheduled. Prompt and courteous. Flat fee. He's obviously fixed a lot of Chamberlain garage door openers.

We called Mike on a Friday night after the spring for our garage door detached from the wall. He came to our house first thing Saturday morning and had it fixed within 15 min and even took extra time to oil up the wheels and tracks for us. He was very nice, professional and charged us way less than some other places would have charged us. I will definitely use Mike again in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

I called Mike and he was on his way out to another job but said he could swing by to take a look and fixed it within an hour and it only cost $133.  Very nice guy definitely will call him again for any garage door needs!

Between the time we called about our problem to the time he came out and had it fixed was about 2 hours. He was honest and courteous... Only charged for the service rendered, no trip fee. I will definitely recommend and use again.

Mike was great to do business with, and he was cheaper than anyone else around.  I called and got a recorded message which said I could leave my number or call Mike on his cell phone.  I called the cell phone, Mike answered right away, I told him what I needed, and he was at my house within an hour!  I will definitely use him again if I need garage door work, and I'll recommend him to everyone I know that needs garage door work too.

We had a broken garage door cable.  I called another Angie's List garage door repair place and they quoted between $150 for the service charge and cable replacement and could get to the house by the end of the day.  then Mike's listing caught my eye because he operates in the same city I live in and I noted he was an owner/operator and I prefer to support local small business owners.  When I called Mike he was courteous and quoted $55 if it was indeed the cable that needed to be replaced.  He indicated there would be no additional service fees.  He said he could come in as little as 45 minutes, but I couldn't even get home that quick from work!  We scheduled a couple hours out and Mike arrived promptly as he said he would.  After his initial lookover he wasn't so sure that the cable needed replacement - perhaps it just needed to be re-connected.  But after getting his ladder it was indeed in need of replacement.  He promptly did his work within about 15 minutes.  He didn't try to sell me anything extra or push an unnecessary service or repairs.  I asked him to quote me a new door price (I have a previously damaged, but working door) and he did so quickly and without trying to upsell.  Very impressive business owner.  I am definitely keeping his card and wouldn't think twice about referring him.

When I got home from work I was going in the house from the garage and attempted to close the door and the opener made a terrible noise and froze. Checked Angies List for a service provider and chose Mike for his location and references. Called and he said he would stop in the morning on his way to his job installing doors. He stopped and checked the unit and adjusted the door so it would open and close manually. He quoted the price at that time and set the appointment for the next morning to replace the opener. He was prompt and professional on the phone and at my home. Great service!

My wife and i couldn't  get the tension cord back on. called Mike and he tried to explain it to me but after trying to do it for an hour asked how much and he quoted $35. made appt for a day later. he was right on time and took maybe 3 minutes to fix!

He saved us $100 over his quoted price because he was able to use pieced from the old door and didn't have to do so much work.  The only problem we had was that it took several times to get in touch with him and the door took 5 weeks to arrive.  Some of that time had to do with delivery problems due to the cold weather and storms out west.  I would use Mike's again but allow extra time.

It went well. He was professional and the cost was better than anyone else. Poor guy was freezing cold in this MN weather.

We wish every service provider worked this way.  Mike was quickly available, prompt, competent, efficient, and friendly.  He quoted a very reasonable price over the phone and he kept his word.  A very pleasant experience!

He responded the same day I called.  Yes, it is his wife that answers their home phone, but when I told her what I needed, she told me to call him on his cell.  He is retired.  Very friendly, prompt, respectful.  Did not tell me I needed unnecessary parts.  I volunteered to pay him the full $75 when he was here for the first part, but he declined until he had all the work done.  I would use him again in a heartbeat!

I have used him a couple of times before and would recommend him. He was on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a reasonable cost.

Excellent... called him mid-morning, came out in the early morning, and was finished within about 1/2 hour.  Price was reasonable and was pleasant to work with.
