Honest-1 Auto Care - Anoka

They came around the neighborhood were offering a coupon card so you could purchase one for a certain price and then you get a discount for each time you go in and that's what pull me towards them and I really been pleased with them, they've been really honest like their name said and they haven't charge me when they is something that they knew that they couldn't fix.

I dropped in for service without an appointment, because the brakes on my Toyota had become very noisy. They were able to look at it fairly quickly and had me back on the road in about 3 hours.

I usually take my van to Honest 1 in Anoka. I always feel that I receive good service at a good cost. I feel that I can trust them not to push for repairs that I don't need.

Powersteering leak fixed. Engine and compartment cleaned and had an overall car check list doneto make sure all other areas were OK (Brakes, Exaust, Suspension, Fluid levels. I hope to return to Honest-1in a few weeks to a month for service on my TMPS sensors in my summer wheels. Honest-1 is HONEST.I asked if maybe my brake fluid should be flushed and a response was that it is a recommended processevery 30000 for my car (this individual had previous experience through working at a Cadillac dealer). That is a question I have asked at Main Motors at least the last 4-5 services and always got the answeras 'You have a Cadillac, flushing the brake system isn't neccessary'.

The Brake System will be flushed also on my next visit to Honest-1.

Didn't know what services Angie's List Big Deal included, I hadn't brought the Angie's List Ad just the Angie's Big Deal Receipt.

I was told I needed a new cabin air filter, I agreed that it should be replaced.

Later I was told that I did not have tail lights nor a light over the license plate. I asked if they had checked the fuse. They just looked at me. I asked the cost of looking for the electrical problem, was quoted $95.00 an hour. I declined the service, drove home and found a blown fuse. This was an indication to me that they do only what is specified. No impress the customer here.

When I was ready to check out they told me the charge would be $77.42. The total should have been $21.39 for the air filter change.
I pointed out that I had already paid through Angie's List,. Check out took longer than normal even though they did not go over what services they had provided along with the results. In my experience reviewing the service(s) is a normal procedure.
