Cozy Insulation

I contracted Cozy Insulation for a garage + bonus room job. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the final outcome, service and overall experience. Jason and his crew were professional, timely and skilled for the duration of the project, and Jason was forthright and consistent with his estimate and final price. Five stars.

I just called Jason for a consultation on improving the insulation of my home. He answered on the first ring, pulled up a visual of my home online, and proceeded to give me a completely pressure-free, informative, 30-minute consultation on my options, despite Cozy's services currently being in high-demand. The conversation alone compelled me to write this review, and I would highly recommend Jason's expertise to others getting insulation bids.

Jason and crew did an outstanding job insulating our 1990 house. We had fiberglass insulation that had blown all to one side. Jason installed celulous which is much better. We had 11 pot lights not boxed in (which sent our warm air right into the attic) and a couple of chutes broken. Everything was repaired. We are amazed at the difference in the warmth and air quality of our whole house. They arrived early, went right to work and left everything like they weren't even here.

Our home needed attic insulation added, new vents, exhaust vents secured and fixtures sealed. I had a bid from another company but they never got back to me for scheduling after we agreed on a price. Started looking for another contractor and found Jason. He stopped out a couple days after I contacted him and looked at what needed to be done. He was very honest about what needed to be done and gave me a bid while he was here. It was far cheaper than the contractor that never called to schedule. The work was completed in a morning. Both Jason and his helper wore masks, covered the floors and cleaned up after. Jason will be the first I call for any future insulation needs. I have recommended him to family and friends.

Jason, the owner, does the work himself with a buddy and they did a fantastic job. I appreciated how he took the time to give us options (cellulose vs. fiberglass), made keen observations specific to our home, was very straightforward with the costs, and even included insulated boxes for our ceiling lamps as part of the package. Price was over $1000 less than the other bid we got, from a company that also had good reviews. Corner room noticeably warmer now and missus is happy! Highly recommended.

My older home had very low attic insulation that hadn't been evaluated in almost 30 years. I've had intermittent issues with an ice dam in one area on my roof that once caused some minor ceiling damage. This issue prompted me to contact Jason prior to the upcoming winter snow season. Jason stopped out on a Sunday to take a look. I found Jason to be a no nonsense contractor and a very honest and informative fellow. He's also polite and professional in appearance. He followed up via email providing a bid the very same day. I contacted him shortly afterward and scheduled the job. Jason was accompanied by one assistant on the day the work took place and arrived right on time. The job took maybe 2 hours and 15 minutes. During the COVID10 time, I was comfortable with having them in my home, as both people wore masks and were respectful of distancing issues. They were efficient and frankly did exactly what they promised to do. The pricing structure offered by Cozy is reasonable and competitive. I highly recommend Jason to anyone interested in upgrading home insulation.

Great. Jason was great at communicating and got the job done quick. Price was reasonable. I've already shared his info with other people looking for insulation.

I had 4 bids for insulation and I picked Cozy Insulation for a few reasons. The main reason was because Jason, who came to bid the job, is the owner and the one to actually DO the work. Not like the other companies where "salesman" come to bid and then transfer the information to their one of many crews where the information can, and usually does, get lost in translation and things can go majorly wrong. Jason is not only knowledgeable about insulation but construction as well. He told me I didn't need some of the things the other companies were trying to sell me. After I did a little research on the internet, Jason was right. That sealed the deal to go with Cozy Insulation. He did a great job! His dad even showed up to help with the roof vents! He was on time, took pictures so I could see what he did and cleaned up after. I'm so happy with Cozy Insulation and I definitely recommend them. You won't be disappointed. I'm glad my hard earned money went to a small, hard working family business!! Thank you Jason!!

Jason and Cozy Insulation were great! The price was affordable and competitive. During the estimate process, Jason was very knowledgeable diagnosing why we were getting an ice **** in a specific part of the roof and no where else. (He saw things other companies missed). I also had questions about different chemicals in insulation products and he was able to give me all the information I needed. The actual install went smoothly. They showed up on time, did what they said they would do, were polite and friendly, and then cleaned up at the end. I would definitely hire them again.

Jason and team showed up on time, the work the did was great, and so was the price. I was worried about our aggressive time line, but it was no problem, they were done much earlier than I expected.

Last March, Jason took care of replacing/updating original insulation/work in our 42 year old home. He took his time in explaining everything, was reasonably priced; and, he and his team did a great job. We wouldn't hesitate to call them again in the future. Thank you.

Jason and his team performed attic air sealing and added insulation (up to R-50 code). He came out to give a free estimate and performed a pre- and post- blower door test to show improved efficiency (required for CenterPoint rebate--which he filled out paperwork for). He and his crew were very professional, organized, and efficient. They showed up on time (even early! They replaced the outdoor soffits while they waited for me to get home from work) and finished promptly. They swept up after themselves too. I would not hesitate to have them do additional work, as they were a pleasure to work with and gave great results.

Jason came out on time. He and a coworker listened to the concern, spoke with our handyman and spent time exploring our attic. He did recommend that we turn off our Aprilaire humidifier but did not think the extra condensation in the attic was the cause of our problem. He said we are currently well insulated and ventilated in our attic and did not think any attic or insulation work was needed. He spent quite some time trying to help us figure out the problem. He did not charge us anything for his time or expertise.

Cozy was amazing and Jason was not only incredibly professional, but also patient with answering all of our questions and concerns. He came to our appointment right on time on a Sunday morning and then came early to complete the project. Would highly recommend his services to anyone needing insulation in their homes.

Everything was outstanding! Jason was extremely professional from start to finish. His estimate was very reasonable and final price was exactly what was quoted. Jason and his assistant arrived on time and completed the job in the exact time that was given originally with the estimate. Since I have 3 dogs it made it much easier for me to manage them during the installation; I also appreciated his putting up with one of the dog's non stop barking! They were very respectful of the property and vacuumed the areas when completed. I couldn't be happier with the whole process and would absolutely recommend him. I particularly appreciated his getting this job in before winter as I know his schedule is really busy now.

Jason was very professional in communicating to us what work was needed to bring our attic insulation up to code. The difference between the pre-test and post-test of the blower door showed a considerable change in air leakage into the attic. He and his helper worked efficiently in getting the job done.

Everything went really smooth. Jason and his team came in and pull all the old insulation, out in new, and hauled away the old insulation.

Short review: Family owned, Professional, On-time, and Affordable. Longer review: We have an older home and our attic was approximately 1600 sq feet. We needed all of the recessed lights, pipes, etc sealed. We also needed rafter vents installed. I had received multiple quotes back in 2015 but decided to put this project on hold. I called Jason 1 week before Memorial weekend and he honored the 2015 quote as well as got us in on the day before before Memorial Weekend, 6/26. On our scheduled day, Jason called to see if it was ok to come 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. They got to work right away. They finished within 2 hours. They cleaned all of the house areas that that they had been in. Performed the pressure test before and after the insulation and sealing. Would recommend them to anyone.
