I went to Blue Line because I had a positive experience with them in the past.
I have a 1999 GMC pickup that was very noisy going down the road due to wind noise through the doors. I went to Blue Line and asked them what it would cost to replace the door gaskets so that the problem would go away.
Immediately Rob asked to look at the truck, and showed me that the problem was not the gaskets, but rather that the bearings supporting the door were worn out, making it impossible for the door to seal correctly. Having done this repair many times, he was able to quickly give me a very reasonable quote to repair the problem.
I agreed to the pricing, and we arranged to have the doors repaired the very next day.
The doors were repaired on time and at the quoted cost even though the parts for the repair were somewhat more than expected at the time of the quote.
It's quiet as a new truck now, with only a small amount invested.
I have appreciated the work that is done at Blue Line because not only is it done at a reasonable cost, but they also show me what needs to be done, and have offered me economical ways to get the result I need.
This is a smaller, friendly shop that does what they say they are going to do, at a very competitive price.

I broke my mirror sometime in mid- to late-June and called around to all of the body shops in my area on Angie's List. I chose to go with Blue Line Collision because I had called all of the others and Blue Line gave me the lowest quote on replacing the mirrors (the original quote was around $180, others were up to around $300 to do the same thing.)When I had decided to go with Blue Line and called them to set up a time, I told the owner that my husband and I both had the 2 days off after July 4th, so I would like to get it done one of those days. I had to go there so that he could find the paint code on my car (apparently it wasn't in a common spot, because neither him nor I could figure out where the code was) - he took my VIN number about a week before the holiday and said he would call the dealer and get the right paint code, then he would see if he could find a mirror that was already painted to save some money. I kept calling and calling to see if he A) had the mirror, and B) had it in the right color, and every time I called the answer was "No, I haven't gotten around to going to get it yet, but I did find one in the right color." (They wouldn't ship it to him so he was going to have to drive to Big Lake to get it.) I told him to call me when he went to get it and I would give him a day and time I would come in. My husband ended up being sick the 2 days after July 4th, so I wasn't too upset that I didn't hear from him because we wouldn't have been able to get it done anyway. When I did get in touch with him again, I told him that the next weekday I have off (they aren't open on weekends) was July 25th, and my daughter would be in day care that day, so that would be a REALLY GOOD day to get this done. He assured me that he would have the mirror and everything would get taken care of that day - I didn't even have to call, I could just come in whenever and he would have it ready. I called him a couple more times in between to check on the status, and the last thing he told me was that he found one in the right color again and just had to go and get it, which he would do soon (I don't remember if he said later that day or the next day or what). So I did call on the morning I had told him I wanted to get it fixed, just to make sure. I called around 9am and said that I wanted to come in sometime between 10 and 10:30. He proceeded to tell me that he couldn't do that because he had the mirror, but he didn't have it painted. I asked him what happened to the mirror he found in the right color, and he told me that it ended up NOT being the right color. He said the soonest he could get me in would be around 2 or so (much later than I wanted). I explained to him that I had to get my daughter from day care and I was hoping to not have to bring her in with me, but I would make it work.He called me back about 5 minutes later saying that he had found a mirror in the right color in Ham Lake, he would just have to go there and get it, so he would be able to accomodate me and change it around 11:30. I clarified that I was hoping for 10:30, and he told me that he would go get it as soon as possible. I told him to call me as soon as he got back with it. At exactly 11:00, he called me to say he had the mirror. I rushed up there to get it done before I had to go and get my daughter. When I walked in he looked unhappy - he had seen me drive past the front and the mirror he went to Ham Lake for was, indeed, the WRONG color... He apologized and said that for some reason he thought my car was darker. I took him out to the car because I thought I had found the sticker where the paint code was, and he was able to get the correct code. I had a week off in August (although I would have to bring my infant daughter along, which I didn't originally want to do), so I told him that I wanted to come in that Monday, 8/6 to get it fixed. He assured me that he would have it all painted and ready by then and that it would only take 15 minutes so it wouldn't be a problem to bring my baby. This time everything was just as he said - I came in that Monday to a beautifully painted mirror and it didn't take him long at all to put it on. He decreased the price from $180 because of all the hassle, which I really appreciated.If I had issues with my car again, I would definitely give them another chance - although there were lots of hiccups in the timing, price is what is important to me and I was very pleased with the initial quote he gave me and the discount he gave me for the delays.

I had the unfortunate experience of totalling my car on Friday the 13th, and needed body work done. Since I was unfamiliar with the area, and couldn't reach my agent, I depended on the tow truck driver (North Star Towing) for options. He said he always takes his vehicles to 'Blue Line'. I can honestly say that Rob, owner of Blue Line Collision Center, restored my faith in 'auto repair' providers. He was very professional and extremely helpful to me. First, he came up with a rough estimate the same day as the accident so I could make a more informed decision on what to do with the car. Since it had very low mileage, no frame damage and otherwise ran great, I decided to have it fixed. Rob really did a great job finding the best alternatives for the parts. He ended up SAVING me an additional $350+ from the second, and more thorough estimate! When I picked it up yesterday, I was very happy! You couldn't tell it had been in an accident. The paint job looked great and not only did they wash the outside, they even vaccumed the interior. The car rode great and I feel Rob did an excellent job finding (and fixing) any damages that compromised safety. Rob definately went the extra mile for me and it made a huge difference in going through this challenging experience. I hope I won't need auto body services in the future, but if I do...I know exactly where to go!

I dropped my vehicle off mid-week and was told it would be ready "Monday or Tuesday" the following week. I called Tuesday to see if it was ready and it wasn't, the estimate was changed to Thursday. I called Thursday afternoon and found the work still hadn't been completed but it was "hopefully" going to be ready on Friday. Friday by 3:00 pm I hadn't heard anything so I assumed it would still not be ready, then I received a call at 4:30 telling me it was finished and I could pick it up (they're open until 5:30). I understand they were somewhat short-handed and the original work involved a repair that they later determined was unacceptable, resulting in additional part(s)/labor. The people at Blue Line do excellent work, it was worth the wait. We've used them in the past both for insurance and non-insurance work and have always been happy with their work.
