+ -1 moreOverall, a very disappointing service experience. Although they completed the 90% of the work in a fairly timely manner, it was difficult to reach them and there was little or no follow up. There is only one cell phone number available to contact this company, which appears to be a personal cell phone. Phone calls and emails were never returned. The owner didn't apply for the permit until after the work was complete and after I pursued it with the city for inspection. They didn't follow through with getting the proper inspections. Through this process, they scheduled 3 appointments where they didn't show up or contact me. I had to keep calling until someone answered the phone. With about 10% of the work still left undone (finishing electrical work), they will not return my calls.
Description of Work: We hired Beneficial Electric to do electrical work related to a basement remodeling project. The bid was $3,450 to upgrade an old fuse box to circuit breaker and install electric outlets, phone/cable modem lines, light fixtures, light switches and smoke detectors in three new rooms. They completed the wiring but didn't finish the outlet fixtures, light fixtures or smoke detectors because they said it was easier to do after the sheetrock and paint was done. They were paid in full but now that we are done with the sheetrock and paint, we have been unable to get them to return our calls or come to finish the job that they were paid in full already to do.
