"First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to submit your review. We do appreciate all feedback so we can make improvements to our policies and procedures. To address your review, John did come out and look at the job on Wednesday and recommended installing a ductless Mini-Split System. After discussing the project further you had decided that was not the route you wanted to go with. You had preferred an Attic air system. John went ahead and took the necessary measurements for proper sizing of that type of Installation. He did say that he would get back to you after the weekend with a quote. Typically we have a staff meeting to discuss all upcoming jobs and proposals on Monday mornings. However that particular week that meeting was delayed until Tuesday. During that time John was informed that we do not do attic AC installs in the summer months due to safety concerns from the high temperatures in attics this time of year. He was not aware of this policy at the time of the initial meeting at your place of residence. We do acknowledge that John should have called as soon as he found out this information. However it was a very busy time and it must have slipped through the cracks. When you called on Wednesday he let you know our policy and informed you that we could do project in fall and asked if you would still like proposal sent over. At that point you asked if he could give you a “Ballpark estimate”. He gave you a number based on what information he had at the time and was not in any way trying to “get rid of you”. We value all our customers and truly apologize for any inconvenience in the communication errors. This has been discussed with John and all other employees to avoid this happening in the future.
