A Line Roofing replaced two skylights. The materials were ordered the day the estimate was accepted by us and the install was completed within 2 weeks. Very seamless process and excellent work and customer service. Would hire again.

Excellent! I know Rod is the owner and was pleasantly surprised to pull into my drive way and find him walking around on the roof with his crew. My husband and I are both Realtors and I had a buyer that just received negative information from the inspector about the roof of his new home. It sounded like a pretty large expense and I needed additional info. I asked if Rod had a moment (this is the first time we met) and not only did he take time to review the photos and inspection report with me, he actually offered to go to the home (close to his own) and check out the issue first hand. He found it to be a pretty inexpensive fix and didn't charge my buyer for his time. His team also finished our roof in a day and didn't leave a single nail or scrap of paper in the yard and my landscaping, bushes & flowers were completely untouched. Not only would I use them again in an instant, I immediately put his company at the top of my list for Roofers and am excited to have an exceptional company to refer to both my buyers and sellers. Honestly, it was seamless from start to finish. He was punctual, kept in contact with me so I knew what to expect, very unusual in this industry. He worked quickly, cleaned up the mess and went above and beyond by painting the interior window frame white to match my ceiling. He was excellent to work with, friendly and kind.

I had purchased the $99 deal for a roof inspection to investigate a drip from a bathroom fan. By the time I scheduled service, I had figured out and solved the drip problem. However, I wanted to get a consult on potentially replacing the bathroom fan vent if it would continue to leak. I asked about the vent, and the person who came out said it looked fine, but didn't get on the roof to examine. I had a couple of additional projects that I inquired about, and we came to a price that I felt was still high (because I had paid the $99 already), but was told could be completed within a week. The projects were completed within three days, and of good quality. Seeing as so many have issues with these "roof inspection packages", I personally will steer clear of these specific deals in the future. . .

That service went well. We had them out and they did some other roof repair work for us too. They showed up on time. They gave me some other quotes and completed the work when they said they would.

I found a few loose shingles on my roof and knew I had a couple other issues to take care of like caulking the vent stacks coming out of the roof.  I have a steep roof so figured it would be safest to buy a roof maintenance package.  A Line Roofing had a deal at the time and they appeared to have a great Angie's List record so I went with them.  The guy who came out (I think it was the owner) walked around the house in 2 minutes and said everything looked great.  He didn't even get up on the roof.  I pointed out the loose shingles, the caulking I wanted done, and that I'd prefer if he got up on the roof and looked for other issues.  He said that it was too much work for the deal I bought and went on to blame Angie's List for taking half of the money for the deal.  He wouldn't do any of the work described in the deal.  He wouldn't even get on the roof!  He did say that he'd take care of the loose shingles if I gave him an additional $80 cash though.  A storm was supposed to arrive the next day and there wasn't any way I could get someone else out there with such a short notice so I had no choice, and he knew it.  I gave him $50 instead and he went up and took care of the shingles in 10 minutes.  Since I gave him $50 I asked if he could take care of my other concerns as well.  He did walk up to the pitch of the roof and quickly glanced around but said it all looked good and the caulking wasn't needed.  I gave up at that point.  After A Line Roofing scammed me out of my money I started looking through Angie's List reviews of similar roofing maintenance deals and found out its a wide spread problem and not just A Line Roofing.  These companies are charging you just to come out and say "looks great" and if there is an obvious problem, charge you additional money to fix it.  Basically, you're paying to get a job quote with these deals.  It's amazing that Angie's List allows this.

He arrived on time and we discussed my concerns about a leak that occurred in the spring when running the bathroom fans and it leaking directly into the basement along the exhaust stack. Then he walked around the house to view the roof with the exhaust fans. 
He took the time to explain what could of occur and what I should do to prevent it. After going up on the roof, he reported what he had found about the area that I had concerns about and took out from his truck the part in question to show me what he saw.  Then he made his recommendations for what should be done, which was only caulking around all the stacks and exhausted fans.  He reported that my roof was in good shaped for the age of the house and if I had the same problem again to give him a call. He also took the time to explain why I may be have an issue with my bay window and what to do to help with it.

My husband dealt with them primarily, and he seems to be happy with the job that they did.  The gentleman did a thorough inspection, followed up with a detailed report of his findings, and did some sealing around any areas that might have needed it.  Furthermore, he responded very quickly and communicated well when we had to reschedule due to poor weather conditions.  Ultimately, everything turned out well.

After that it still leaked, Rod came back in the next week and fixed that problem.  It seemed to fix the problem.  We are happy with his work.  The only reason he did not get  all "A" is bcause he had to come back.  I would recommend him to my friends!

I called A1 because leak around chimney. He looked at the problem and assessed that there was no flashing which was causing the leak. Patched it on first visit and then came back to fix it on second visit.  I would hire them again only if I had time to get other bids. The cost sees way high for the time and labor.

We had a minor roof leak that has turned into $10k worth of damage to our home. It seems there was a problem with our roof, but no weather damage. After contacting 30+ roofers, only two were willing to look at the property and assess where the leak was coming from. The first refused to look through the giant hole in the ceiling to identify the source of the leak and said that we would need to repair four areas at over $3500. A new roof would have been around that price for the area.
That evening, I called Rod at ALine and he agreed to come out and take a look the next day. He inspected and found the leak in minutes and quoted $725 to repair. Deal.
Rod showed up exactly when he said that he would (even though it was slightly raining) and finished the job fast. He put down extra water-proofing to help make sure the issue didn't happen again. He thoroughly explained what he had done and recommended installing gutters on our second story roof to ease some of the rain falling on the affected valley. We are planning on adding those in the near future.
I would (and will) use this company again for any roofing needs.
