Robert always does a great job. We had not had him over for awhile as he had worked himself out of a job - no mice or even bugs to be seen for the past few years. (We had Robert "seal" our house a few years ago...worked GREAT. Especially if you live in an older home and have lots of nooks and crannies...). This time he focused on the 8 plus hornet, yellow jacket and wasp nests. Our back yard was unusable before Robert's visit. Now we are able to enjoy the yard once again! Always fair prices too.

Did a full wasp/hornet treatment in our yard and did the regular inside "keep the bugs at bay" treatment.

I called Robert at 4 Seasons Pest Control after killing 4 wasps that were coming in my home. He was at my house in 5 MINUTES! He did a thorough home inspection figuring out what was going on. He took out 2 bee hives and gave me a great education on bees in general. This man knows his adversary. Robert was professional, courteous and prompt, (did I mention he was here in 5 MINUTES!). Highly recommended!

Robert knows exactly what is required for the job. When I had mice in my home 7 years ago. I tried different stuff found in the Home Depot, Menards, etc. But none of the worked. I called him to control it. He installed several traps and baits. All mice were trapped within a week and I had no mice problem after that for 7 years now.

Robert has been providing pest control services for me for several years. I called him originally on the recommendation of a colleague, when I discovered carpenter ants several years ago. He treated that issue successfully and has continued to provide twice-yearly pest control services, most recently in May 2013. He also helped me with a chipmunk issue a couple of years ago. He has been very responsive to my inquiries, has worked around my schedule, his price has always been fair, and he has provided pest education along with his services. I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking help with a pest control/rodent problem, or to anyone who wants to ensure that, through regular maintenance, they do not develop one.

As Murphy's Law would have it, my husband was out of town when I discovered that we had mice living under our jaccuzi tub. I called Robert because of all the good reviews he received, and I'm glad I did! He came out the same day, one of the coldest days of the winter, and went through our house inside and out, looking for the entry points where the mice were getting in. He set traps, but most importantly, he blocked the entry points so more mice couldn't get in! For the next two nights I listened to the sound of traps going off at night, 7 mice total. They seem to be gone now, but I will be leaving the traps out for awhile, just in case! Robert showed me where the mice were entering our house. He plugged the entrances with mesh and said he could come back in the spring and seal the entry points off more permanently when the weather got warmer. He told me signs to watch for as far as the mice removing the mesh, and said to call him if the mice removed the mesh and he would replace it. Robert also pointed out that we had moths in our house, and discovered that they were hatching in our bird seed supply, which I then discarded. He noted that we had ants in our basement. He really knows his stuff! I will definitely hire him for all our exterminating needs in the future. I feel we got more than our money's worth by hiring him.

I like the fact that the gentleman calls when he comes into the neighbourhood as lots of people use him in the neighbourhood then I don't have to remember all the time about scheduling him. He is very thorough and if there is a problem he will come back and spray again or take care of it. I will continue to use them in the future.

Robert was professional, punctual and took care of the mouse problem. He explained everything he was doing and explained how to keep the mice out. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone I know.

We had a small problem with mice in my basement. Robert arrived on time and went right to work. He inspected inside and out and determined how the mice were getting in. He set traps and plugged entry points into my house.

We just bought a new house and a neighbor told us that we had a raccoon living in one of our trees. It's a fenced in back yard and I have two preschool-aged sons...so the raccoon had to go. I called 4 Seasons and explained the situation. Robert said he could come out that same afternoon - even though he works on the other side of the cities. He put two traps out one afternoon, then came out the next morning to check them. He'd had great luck and caught it the same night - even though we'd had heavy rain! He then wend up to the hole to see if there were any pups. There weren't, but I loved that he was going to relocate the whole family somewhere far far away... The price was the lowest quote, Robert was very friendly, and the work was done with extreme efficiency (although there's no way to guess how long a trap might take to catch something.) Two thumbs up!

Robert came to our house and inspected the inside and outside for mice. He said the true way to prevent mice is to block their entrance. He checked and found several mice entryways. He plugged up the holes and suggested that I replace the garage door weatherstrip. He placed several traps in the basement. I also had him spray for spiders. Robert arrived on time, he was very professional and he took the time inspect the inside and outside of the house. He came back a month later for a follow up, this was at no extra charge. I will call him back to schedule an appointment to check the house when the snow melts.

We had a mouse infestation in our kitchen and basement - we killed 10 mice in 24 hours. 4 seasons uncovered where the mice were entering our house. They spent about 2 hours inspecting and plugging holes. They also showed us where the holes were. They were extremely knowledgeable and well - priced. Other exterminators I contacted were over double the price and were not able to come out to our house for almost a week after I contacted them. We had a great experience with 4 seasons and will use them again if we have any pest issues. I would give them an A+ if possible!

He came and first went over the property to assess for any possible ants (that was the problem we saw). He was pretty thorough and found sites of where damage was done (even showed me the 'saw dust' stuff. He was pretty knowledgeable. Told us what we would need to do in the spring to prevent more damage and then treated the whole house for bugs. We saw 1 ant since his service. Now, though the ants are likely dormant. We will definitely be calling him for a f/u when the weather warms up next year. He also checked for mice entries and gave us some tips. No contract had to be signed. I was very pleased with his work and would recommend him to others.

It's working! After only two days I am on my way to no longer having to share my house with these mice. Robert is very professional and very knowledgeable. He did not try to sell me on any kind of long term program, which I appreciated very much. I worked with a competitor a few years ago regarding ants. This competitor tried very hard to sell me on an annual program. While Robert does offer such programs, he in no way tried to pressure me. Overall, a great experience.

Mice droppings recently appeared in my utility room of the lower level of my two story. I called 4 Seasons Pest Control and Robert answered (no answering machine here). He explained how his service worked and gave me an estimate on the phone. I agreed to have him come the next day. He examined my situation, went outside to determine where the mice were accessing my home, blocked that access, and provided traps and strategy to begin ridding the house of the unwanted pests.

He explained everything about what was going on with them and he did the treatment. We have noticed a big major decline so we are very satisfied with that and he is going to come out once more in April. The total price inclusive of tax was $131.00. The price will go down the next time. He is by himself. What we liked is that it was not on a contract basis. We don't have to contract with him year round. We deal with him each time and we are under no obligation to have him keep coming back. We didn't do a lot of checking about the price. My husband wanted somebody who was close by and didn't have a contract. We were looking for something that we didn't have to go on a month-by-month basis. It was too expensive for what our situation was. He used a water-based product and it didn't leave any residue or any stain. There was no smell, it wasn't harmful, and yet it did the job. He was right on time. He was here for quite a while. He didn't seem in a hurry to get the job done. He did a very good job and he was very thorough. His professionalism was very good.

We were very pleassed. Robert was able to come out within a day of contacting him. He was very prompt and professional. He was friendly and a pleasure to talk with, explaining everything he was doing. He guarantees his work! He offered to go all around the house and treat it for about $40 more but we didn't take him up on that service at this time.

Robert returned my call promptly and we arranged for his initial and every other month service of the property. He then called the tenant directly to arrange service with them and billed me the next week. I didn't have to buy into a long-term contract, which is actually why I'm more likely to stay with this company.

I called on Friday morning to find out if it was too late in the season to treat the exterior of our house for box elder bugs, since another pest control company had just told me that same day that I would have to wait until next year, late summer/early fall. We've had what seems like millions so I wanted to treat before winter to decrease their numbers next year. Robert assured me it wasn't too late, and it turned out he was even able to come out that day. While he was here, I asked about other pest control services I might be interested in since we live in an older home and have seen big spiders and centipedes in the basement; he explained some other treatment options he provides; quarterly, bi-monthly, etc. He didn't pressure me to sign up for any future services, just provided the information.
Description of Work
Robert treated the exterior of our 2-story home for box elder bugs & ladybugs, as well as sprayed inside a couple of windows & inside the frame of our front door, where they seem to come into the house. He also found & pointed out a hole in the exterior brick underneath one window that he thought was likely the work of a mouse (although we've never seen any). He stuffed copper wire in the hole & suggested filling up the space with expanding foam to deter any future problems there. His visit took between 30-45 minutes, he seemed very knowledgeable when I asked any questions. I had also asked him both on the phone & in person whether or not the product he uses would be safe for my dogs, because we have a few that eat box elders. He assured me the product he was using wasn't going to harm them, & even explained a bit about what it actually is & how it works.

Robert came out to help us determine how wasps were getting into our house and then treat for any nests he might find. He was prompt and efficient. He looked around the inside and outside of our house to determine where he thought nests might be and where wasps might get in- in doing so, he also found some areas that could be causing us to lose heat in the winter. He treated for a nest in our soffit and we haven't had any wasps in the house since. He also noticed that we have had mice in the past and offered to go around real quick and check for possible spots they might get in and put some copper mesh in those spots. He offered to come back at no charge if we continued to have a wasp problem. He was very professional and knew what he was doing! We were extremely satisfied.

The did what they said they would do, arrived when they said they would, and they did it beautifully. There was also a follow up problem, he came immediately (even though it wasn't in his area) and helped me anyway. I was very impressed and would definitely use him again. He was also very reasonably priced.

4 Seasons Pest Control also does attic insulating. Robert Luckett explained the entire procedure to me ahead of time, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns, and sent me a link to a website with detailed information on cellulose insulation. Robert installed attic rafter chutes to prepare the attic for the blown-in cellulose insulation. A few days later (on a weekend to accommodate my schedule), Robert and his assistant installed cellulose insulation over existing fiberglass insulation that had settled and shifted. Because the old insulation was so uneven, the job required more new insulation than estimated, but I was not charged for the extra material. Before the insulation was installed, areas around the work site were covered with plastic, and affected areas were cleaned up well afterward. The attic access was in a closet, and Robert even replaced the old, bent closet rod bracket for me at no charge.

Installed blown-in cellulose insulation in a split-level house with two attic spaces. Installed rafter chutes to preserve ventilation at eaves before adding the insulation. Added 8-10 inches of cellulose insulation over existing 12-14 inches of fiberglass, which had settled and shifted. Insulated scuttle hole panels in both attic spaces with styrofoam boards. Laid plastic in work area, removed shoes before walking through house, and cleaned up work area afterward.

I called 4 Seasons to squirrel-proof my roof because I thought a squirrel was trying to get in, and made an appointment for the next day. However, that night I realized the squirrel was inside my attic. I called 4 Seasons the next day, and Robert arrived at my house within the hour. He chased out the squirrel and discovered a hole in the soffit at the roofline of my split-level house that probably had been there since the house was built. He sealed the hole and spray-painted the patch to match the color of the roof. Robert explained his work both before and after completing it. He patiently listened to all my concerns and respectfully answered all my questions. I was completely impressed with his knowledge, experience, and professionalism. The work he did is almost invisible, the squirrel is long gone, and a mysterious draft of outside air that had existed in a closet since the house was built now is gone. I wish Angie's List allowed an A+ rating.
Description of Work
Removed a squirrel from the attic and sealed the hole where the squirrel got in with copper mesh and expanding foam insulation. Spray-painted the patch to match the roof. Replaced the vent cap on the chimney to deter the squirrel from trying to get in that way, and offered to trim trees that overhang the roof. A few days later, returned to inspect the work and make sure the squirrel was not still trying to get in.
