Awful!! I worked with Darrell Olson and his estimates in the beginning had great numbers and he comes off as this teddy bear/ super trustworthy person. Initial demo went well in first couple weeks in bathroom. Biggest point here is they are slow. As in, we agreed on one month for the things we discussed (items listed above, plus double that). So after the demo, I am over at this vacant house trying to move things along, most of which I can't do because it is all waiting on his stuff, painting, etc before I can call my carpet guy in and do forth. Well after the first 2 weeks, no one would step foot in that house for up to 3 weeks at a Time! My emails and texts would largely get ignored, or days would pass before I would get any kind of response. Never any good reason for not finishing on time "he just got buisy". So lots of run around from this Darrell character, but every time I pushed and tried to lean on him for a new deadline, it was no big deal to him he'd say it's all easy, quick stuff that will only take a few days. Well problem is he would only come and work on it when he had spare time, an hour in the evening or a random weekend. Bottom line it took Darrell and his crew over 6 months to complete only half of the job we agreed on, and I had to call a second company to come do the other half of the list or it would have been December before things got done! Original agreement: 1 month, all projects related to the house. even more embarrassing for him this other company came in doing superior work and got it done in a few weeks. I was still waiting on Darrell at the very end to finish so I could put my house on the market. He promised finish date after finish date, they all came and went over and over. he gave me a small discount at the end For taking so long(-$700). But paying mortgage on an empty property cost more than a few thousand, and I desperately wanted this house on the market by spring due to the fact that it has no central AC, and being forced to wait until July cost me a lot in the sale price as well.
