Initially it looked very good and was working as it should - draining away from the house. Then after a year of rain, there was some pooling that was happening and it wasn't flowing down the hill as it should. What was most frustrating was that we tried and tried to get him to come back out to look at it, and he just basically ignored most of our calls/texts. He was working out of town so we understood it would be difficult to come out immediately - we just wanted to get a date nailed down and even that was difficult. After continuing to text/call he finally committed to coming out in the spring 2016. The date came for him to come, and he had a family emergency - but did send a friend to look at it. That person said he would come back and fill in with black dirt a section that had eroded, and then would talk to Steve Patterson (the now owner of Kline Design) about possibilities for correcting it. Neither ever got back to us again, and nothing more was done. Steve was very nice to begin with - but he was terrible in follow-up. He acted as if we were bothering him - and has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. I would never use him again, and would never recommend him to anyone. It was the most frustrating situation to be in, and we will now have to pay someone else to come out and fix what he did.
