Bill worked with my husband Tom and me to select the different parts of the staircase. These parts all have special names like ballister. Tom and I went back and forth with him on what would be good, and we settled on a design with Bill's recommendation. I appreciated Bill's patience with us. Bill struck both of us as a true craftsman, very deliberate and thorough in his approach to his work. The end result is just beautiful in that the staircase very much fits within its space in the house. Bill was very considerate, too. He took off the railing, so I could paint that wall, and then he came back another day to put it on.
