The first part of our experience went well. Tom seemed very nice and was very responsive. Roofers did a great job and were very professional. There was miscommunication on siding as they started doing the wrong side. Tom said he would have them put pieces back on with no extra cost, but we noticed that some pieces seemed to have buckling, etc. After some back and forth, they did seem to get it right. We didn't notice until over a year later, but there is a significant patch on our back side of the house that is slightly different color, it shows up pretty good if sun is shining on it. When it came to paying off the final amount, I told Tom that I wanted him to have the final city inspection, but he didn't seem to think that was necessary. I told him that the final payment wouldn't be given until the inspection was done. After a long time of not hearing from him, I tried to contact him several times without success. This seems odd to me.

Tom is a very friendly person and is willing to work with the customer to make sure everything is done to their satisfaction. Overall the quality of work was very high. There was one issue with some siding, but they came out and repaired it immediately. Some lights were damaged by workers while they were working and Tom had them replaced immediately. They were also very responsive when it came to issues. The one issue we have is simply closing the deal. We have been trying to contact Tom for four months to finalize everything and he doesn't return calls.

FROM OUR FIRST CONTACT WITH TOM, DEALING WITH JABEZ WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. WE FIRST CONTACTED HIM FOR AN ESTIMATE MONTHS BEFORE WE KNEW HOW WE COULD PAY FOR THE WORK, & HE NEVER PUSHED US - IN FACT HE ENCOURAGED US TO THINK ABOUT IT & LET HIM KNOW WHEN WE WERE READY TO PROCEED. ONCE THE JOB WAS STARTED, THE GUYS ASSIGNED TO DO THE WORK WERE GREAT ABOUT KEEPING US INFORMED OF THEIR PROGRESS, & TOM PERIODICALLY CAME BY TO SEE HOW THINGS WERE GOING. THE GUYS WERE ALSO GOOD ABOUT CLOSING THE GATES (WE HAVE DOGS) WHEN THEY WERE IN THE BACK YARD, & CLEANING UP SO THE DOGS WOULDN'T GET HURT. WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETE THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH ONE WINDOW NOT OPERATING PROPERLY, & TOM CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER & ARRANGED FOR BOTH THE MANUFACTURER REPRESENTATIVE & THE CREW FOREMAN TO MEET AT OUR HOUSE SO THE PROBLEM COULD BE RESOLVED. EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF & WE'RE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK.
