I was having my bathroom painted; I scheduled the painter a month in advance. I was going to ask him to put up a different vanity light when he was finished painting. When he removed the old light fixture, he discovered the that the builder had not installed the light fixture to code and there was a stud between the existing wiring and where the wire needed to be for the new vanity light. So, I had to scramble to try to find an electrician that could do the job ASAP. I called Jeff and he was able to squeeze me in that same week. Fortunately, my painter was able to juggle his schedule too, which gave me time to resolve the electrical issue before the walls were painted. Jeff was super nice. When he saw me wearing a mask, he kindly offered to wear one, but I told him it wasn't necessary. He also took off his shoes. My carpet is so dirty that I told him that he could keep them on, but I appreciated the gesture. Jeff fixed the problem in minimal time. He didn't even have to remove any more drywall. I was very impressed with the results and I was extra pleased that he checked that the fixture was level. I couldn't be happier.

Excellent! I called on Friday night and left a message and he called back within five minutes. He offered to come out immediately, but we agreed on Saturday. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the work quickly. The price was also reasonable. I highly recommend Innovative Electric and plan to have him install indoor and outdoor light fixtures in the near future.

Jeff contacted me within a day or two of purchasing the deal through Angie's List. He's kind of "old school" in that he prefers to do business over the phone and on paper. He is good about returning calls in a reasonable amount of time, and his handwriting on the carbon copy I got for my inspection report was legible. He offered to perform the maintenance needed that he identified on the inspection report, but he didn't do a hard sell at all. Recommended.

Our house is wired a bit odd so we decied to use purchase an Angie's List special to have Innovative come out and help go through our fuse box and figure out what is what, while also giving us a good overview of where our electrical stands. He was very helpful and professional and we learned more than a couple things we had not about some of our wiring and improvements we plan on doing in the future. Will definitely reach out to them when the time comes!

Provider (Jeff) arrived on-time and was very friendly throughout the whole process. He was very approachable with any questions while he installed our lights. Good professional work. Would hire again for any electrical job. Cost in the end was slightly more than quoted as it took longer than expected to complete the job per provider. Clean-up from job was 100% our responsibility, not a problem for us.

I was installing some flush mount lighting and came across a light fixture where I needed to flip two circuit breakers to silence my circuit tester. This seemed odd so I called Jeff. He was able to fit me in that afternoon and arrived on time. The problem turned out to be with my tester - false positives. He explained why I was having the problem with the tester and installed the light. He discounted my bill some. I appreciated the information and gained some useful knowledge. I will call Jeff to install a chandelier when I figure out what I want.

After listening to my failed diagnostics and the steps I took to isolate the problem, Jeff stepped through several of the steps I had taken. With his knowledge of the style and age of our house he was able to find the single outlet I had not known was on the circuit and of course, this was where the problem was found. The shared neutral circuit was connected directly to the outlet by the stab-in connectors. This is a very bad thing. He corrected the issue in a way that will no longer be a potential problem and was out within an hour.
