Genuine Electric

Nick was out of this world amazing! He calls ahead of time to let you know he's on his way. Due to this virus were all struggling with, he wears a mask. His craftsmanship is spot on! He gave us great ideas on how we can save money by adding another outlet rather than hiring an outside contractor to tear into our wall and re-drywall. His rates are lower than most electricians. His personality is great. I will never look around for a different license electrician. Nick is the best!

The guys were punctual, friendly, and professional. They were very respectful and cleaned up their messes. Their work was excellent and the inspector praised it! The company owner answered all our questions, explained their work, and made us feel as if we were in charge of our own project. Very great team to work with and we highly recommend them. It's good to know we have a trustworthy electrician now!

Our outside patio/backdoor light burned out, and I contacted Nick to replace it.  He came out when he said he would, and replaced it.  This is the second time we have contacted Genuine Electric, and both times Nick took the time to ask me questions so he knew exactly what I wanted in a bathroom fan as well as the kind of flood light we wanted.  I especially wanted to avoid the harsh white light of an LED bulb so he brought two different kinds of light bulbs out for me to look at.  He explained the difference plus I was able to see what both looked like when turned on.  It was, once again, a very positive experience.  It is absolutely wonderful to have someone I trust to do excellent work on our home.  I could relax and know the job would be done right.

Nick came to our home to give us an estimate to replace our bathroom fan, and said he could schedule the work in two weeks as he was fully booked.  This was just fine with me.  He called me to put in the fan within the time frame he said he would.  Mike came out to do the work, and the fan was replaced in about two hours.  Nick recommended a certain brand of fan, and I felt confident in his choice.  I appreciated him recommending a fan brand.  The fan looks great, and it is almost impossible to hear, which is such a change as our old one was very noisy.

Nick and Mike were courteous, easy to talk to, and professional.  From the first contact to the last, it was a pleasure to have Genuine Electric take care of our fan replacement, and we would definitely contact them again.

I used this company from a referral, so I had high expectations and I'm happy to say they were met. As electricians do, they charge per hour. They showed up within 10 minutes of the appointment time. They were very friendly and even greeted my dog -- no aversion to pets. I had four outlets that were supposed to be 3-way, but were not. They rewired all of them in about 20 minutes. I also had a light fixture hung, which was done quickly. There was still time left in the hour, so they offered to change some light bulbs in another light fixture and found some exposed wires when they did it, which they promptly fixed. The fact that they were not eager to leave before the hour was up and checked wiring when it wasn't expected shows integrity and going above and beyond. They are very personable, safe, and reliable. I have already referred them to others and will use them again.

The guys came out earlier on an urgent service need to move wires for a window installation. They did such a good job that, while the wall was still open for the pending window installation, I asked them to come back out and add 3 circuits to the breaker box and extend wiring for the future installation of a steam shower, outside lighting and sprinkler system. The work was done quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Great job!

Whoa! We were putting a window into the south facing dining room wall and just like on one of the HGTV shows we watch where, as soon as the demo starts, something awful shows up in the walls, behind the sheet rock we saw literally all of the wires that carry electricity to our upper level!!! Yuck! So the guy doing the window said he knew an electrician and called for us.
These guys came out and had the job done within 24 hours. AND they found a better way to do it than I had proposed which involved an ugly junction box on the outside of the house.
YES. These guys are good. Please use them!

it was a great experience. they were very easy to work with, knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. the work was done very well. they made good suggestions and were willing to go the extra mile. it was a big job, and the spaces look great with the new lighting -- we will use them again for any future lighting or electrical needs.
