We had a great experience working with Dean, Derek and the Dercon team. We had to wait for over six months for our windows because of Covid slowdowns, but Dercon kept us informed. The day the windows were installed, the Dercon team took care to protect our carpets and cleaned everything up well and our new windows look great! We would definitely work with Dercon again.

We decided to remodel our outdated kitchen finally.. After countless interviews with contractors, we finally found one that took the time to listen to what we wanted to do. Team Dercon was amazing from day one. Conner spent many hours listening to us and helping to bring our ideas to life. His creativity showed us what we have been envisioning. The schedule was laid out for us so we knew everyday who and what was going on in our home. In today's crazy world they were able to stay completely on time thu the entire project. The attention to detail was outstanding to say the least. The respect the team had in coming to our home was second to none. The communication on a daily basis from all involved made us feel very comfortable for the 6 weeks to start and complete our project. We highly recommend Dercon Construction, and will use them again

Dercon was fantastic to work with and I'm very pleased with my final project. I needed my condo windows replaced - 2 fairly large windows. Dercon's estimate was reasonable (of three estimates, I had one questionably low quote, and two that were only $100 apart. Dercon was the cheaper of these two). I met and corresponded with Derek to get started and of all three contractors, this was the best initial experience, from the quote through all email conversation prior to committing to the project (as much if not more of the reason why I picked them as the slight price difference). The crew that came to do the replacement was great, Dercon + crew were great with follow-up, the process was easy from start to finish. And, my final payment was just under the estimate even, because the final permit cost came in lower. I recommend Dercon and would consider them again for any future projects.

Great experience. Did a whole main floor overhaul inclusive of removing a wall. I knew exactly what I wanted and they listened and offered great suggestions and recommendations. The process along the way was great. The project management was second to none with a full project plan prior to starting and they stayed on top of it the whole way. I knew exactly what was happening each day. In the end, I worked with great people and the kitchen turned out better than I even imagined. I will definitely be reaching out when we start our next project!

I had hail damage and got an estimate of damage from my insurance company. Dercon Construction did an estimate and found more damage then was listed by the insurance company. They contacted my insurance company and met out at my house to go over. The insurance company approved more damage found by Dercon. I did not have to deal with the insurance at all. Dealing with Dercon construction was a complete pleasure. Very professional , on time, great customer service, and second to none quality of work. The following year I decided to put LP Smart Siding on the front of my house. I went with Dercon again because of the excellent experience I had with them and once again they went above and beyond my expectations.

Excellent, from the contract signing to the final cleanup. We had a complete tear off of the roof on the main house, garage, and a porch. The project manager explained the process and answered our questions throughout the process. The complete job was finished in one day, on May 1, 2020. We will definitely hire again.

Dean took our call at 10:00 Monday evening and was out to our home around 10:00 Tuesday morning. He identified the source of the leak and used clear caulk to repair it. Without our even asking, he also checked and reinforced other potential leak areas around the remaining roof vents and did a roof inspection. In the 48 hours after the repair, we had over 1 inch of rain and the repair held. There was no more leaking around the exhaust fan vent or anywhere else on our roof.

We first used Dercon for hail damage in June 2017, requiring a new roof, some gutters, and other repairs. I found them on Angie's List and wanted to stay local. I was not disappointed. They did such good work at that time that we hired them to do three more projects over the next two years, including some basement remodeling (that ended up requiring mold remediation) and siding on the front of the house. They do excellent work, get the job done when they say they will, and are very professional in everything they do. When I have another project to get done, I will look first to Dercon. You might find someone cheaper to do your work, but you'll probably end up paying extra for the headaches you will incur.

Very well. We had several meetings to establish what was wanted before being presented with materiels, colors, etc. Then got a very detailed contract with each segment of the project spelled out.. Project manager provided me with a 3 week schedule that was followed to the letter. Everyone very professional, friendly, and willing to answer questions; they really seemed happy to do what they were doing. And they did a beautiful job and on time. A very professional company, highly recommended.

The project was planned and managed very well. The management personnel (Conner, Derek, and Bruce) who worked with us on this project were very personable, courteous, and professional (e.g., detailed, thorough, on time, excellent communication skills, responsive, and knowledgeable). When questions arose, they responded quickly. They managed the roofing and siding teams well and performed daily inspections of work completed, quickly correcting the minor mistakes made on a couple of occasions. They instilled confidence in the company and made sure the deliverables met expectations. I view Dercon to be a great company with trustworthy employees who will do what is required to deliver a quality outcome on time. I highly recommend this company.

Dercon was punctual and the price was fair. The service was purchased as an Angies list deal. The Angies List deal was worded in a way that didn't manage expectations well. I knew the size of my roof, and it fit within the size specified in the deal. However, 10% is added in the job estimation process, and that 10% put my roof outside the size of the Angies List deal. I won't purchase anything on an Angies List deal again. However, Dercon is a good company focused on customer service and they'll do a good job. I'll consider using them in the future.

Extremely well. Very professional. Performed the work exactly as per our agreement. Helped us plan out the work and determine what could and could not be done, based on the structure of the house and our budget.

Our experience with Dercon was wonderful. They were very professional, always had our best interests in mind. Very responsive to questions and kept the workplace clean. Everyone we worked with, Dean, Ryan, Stephan, Boston and the sub contractors were experts in their field and very personable. Going into the project we knew we wanted a kitchen remodel but did not know where to start or have a idea of a layout. Dean and Ryan asked lots of questions, took photos and came up with a plan that met our needs and was nothing short of spectacular. They gave suggestions when we were uncertain on things and listened to our ideas as well. The end result was a beautiful remodeled kitchen, refinished floors, ceiling and walls on the main floor as well.

It went awesome!!!! The crews were professional, on time, efficient. Clean up was great. Friendly staff all around. When one crew was done the nest one showed up and did their job. It was seamless. Everyone was easy to work with. Helpful on selection and what we needed. From the first call till the project was done was the easiest project I have ever done. Large selection of products and colors.

Dercon worked with us to create the open kitchen/dining/living room area that we had dreamed of. Ryan and Dean really listened to what we wanted and were willing to explore options that allowed us to include all of the vital pieces of our project. Any challenges that we encountered along the way were efficiently resolved. The entire team was professional and so fun to work with. We highly recommend them!

From the beginning when Connor came to do the estimate to when he came back after the job was finished to take pictures; everything went smooth. The supervisor Stephan had a day to day schedule with what was taking place and who would be here at all times. Any changes he would let me know. All the contractors were nice,took time to explain things that would be done and cleaned up before they left for the day. I love my bathroom and I would highly recommend this company.

In Fall 2016 we were hit by storm which required our entire roof to be removed. We had this work done in June 2017, only to be hit by a storm 3 days after completion which required complete new roof, siding, and windows. They did what they say they would, responsive to concerns and questions. All addressed within 24 hours. We used them the second time because we were so pleased the first time.

Our experience with Dercon started on June 11, 2017. That morning a bad hail storm came through Blaine and **** Rapids. Our house suffered a lot of damage to the roof and a few sides. I reached out to Dercon via Angie’s List and was impressed by their prompt response. Dean reach out asking if we needed any emergency tarping right away, which we did not, but were impressed by the quick response. After talking with a couple contractors, we decided to move forward with Dercon based on their rapid response and their non-pushy sales approach. Over the next few weeks we partnered with Alec and Bruce to get through the insurance part of the storm damage. Bruce was awesome in reaching out to the insurance company as well as keeping us posted on how things were progressing. Alec came out and helped us determine what we would like to do to the home as in materials, etc. Fast forward throughout the summer we ended up having to have multiple discussions with the insurance company due to the language within our contract. Dercon stayed with us through this process. We eventually got the entire roof replaced and eventually got the whole house exterior planned for replacement. The exterior of the house took several days due to the cold weather and the fact that the crew pays close attention to detail in everything that they do. Both the roofing and the siding crews were prompt, professional and clean. Dercon has exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend their services to anyone.

Process was slow do to some installation issues (3 months for completion ). The people subcontracted to complete the work were not familiar with the product. Some rework needed to be completed due to this issue. Final project costs came in higher than quoted. Dean Marquette made sure issues were resolved to satisfaction and would contact them for future projects.

Dercon did a great job on the repair of my house which was the whole exterior and windows due to the Blaine 2017 storm that caused over 5000 insurance claims in the area. Conner was always available to answer questions and update me on the schedule, was professional, courteous, prompt, and committed to my needs. Their carpenters are the best (thanks Phil and crew!), Dean goes beyond the expected and made repairs outside of the scope of the project and suggestions for improvements that were appreciated. All of the sub-contractors were professional, friendly, and skilled at their trades. The job was completed on time and the results excellent.

Dercon is a great company to do business with. The quality of their work is beyond compare. Using companies listed in Angie's list that had high ratings, we shopped around for contractors to do this work . Some returned our calls, others really did not seem to care to do this project. None of them performed the detailed explanations and drawings that Dercon did. One of the many reasons we decided to use Dercon was when Dean, the owner, and his son Conner visited us the first time, Dean did a thorough check of the crawl space above the kitchen/dining area to make sure there would be no surprises. He took pictures of the areas up there and of the roof interior and pointed out to us that we had a small leak in the roof around the kitchen plumbing vent stack. He showed us the pictures and then went outside up on the roof to check it out. Not only did he check it out, he fixed it (sealed it) as well as some exposed nails and took pictures of it all to show us. He did this for us without our asking and at NO COST! We had just had a very strong windstorm a few days before and the wind took a couple of corner shingles of the bumpout in our dining area to the deck. I managed to find the corner shingles and ask Dean if he could fix them (for a fee, of course) as long as he was fixing things. He did so, again at NO COST! We were told our remodel would take 6 weeks to complete. They finished in 5 weeks. They took great care not to disrupt our normal everyday living and to keep the dust down to a bare minimum. They were not the least expensive, but their work is the best. We would never hesitate for even a second to recommend them to others as well as hire them for any future work. I must also mention that our project manager, Stephan, was extremely detail oriented and always on top of things to make sure they were done right. That made our remodel pleasurable instead of problematic.

Dercon did an amazing job helping us with our remodel--inside and out. They kept to schedule, informing us of changes. They spent hours reworking plans for our remodel, and it turned out wonderful. We got exactly what we wanted. All the workers were friendly and professional. Stephan was on top of every detail (much appreciated) and answered our questions....even the silly ones! I highly recommend Dercon.

They did great job on both project's. Five star,love are new kitchen everything we wanted.

They did a magnificent job, very clean during the process and finished early than expected. I would absolutely invite them in my home again for other remodeling projects.
