Midsota Lawncare owner has a lot to learn. Taylor quoted me for a 1 day job and on day 3 it was still not completed and he quit responding to my messages after having been paid in full. He did not complete all the tasks that he said he would do. He came back on the 3rd day unannounced and finished laying pavers he never cut to make a square turn or leveled the pavers out. He had also placed rock under my deck that barely covered the black fabric. He argued with me because I had asked him a few questions and he stated he was losing daylight hours due to this. Had his team shown up on time and not been on their cell phones most of the day, this job should have been completed. I ended up cleaning up numerous piles of dirt left on the ground. I will also have to redo a section of pavers he laid in such an unprofessional way plus order in more rock. Please do your research before hiring this company.

I will say the owner and worker were very nice and fine to work with. My complaint is with the process. Having been quoted an estimate for the work (3 post holes) sight unseen I was disappointed that the work wasn't completed. After the initial estimate, another $100 was required to finish due to needing additional equipment. After that yet another invoice for another $230 was sent because another piece of equipment and more people were needed to finish. While I understand the reasons, at some point the company should assume the additional costs as they bid incorrectly. In the future getting an on-site estimate would be better to help avoid this issue. Or don't take jobs that you don't have the equipment for. What started as an affordable bid turned into a $600 job that I can't afford and in my opinion is too much for the work being done.
