About us

Kurt and Diane Kjellberg founded Kjellberg Carpet and Interiors in 1967. The original location was in a tiny downtown Buffalo store front. The Buffalo store has moved twice since and added another location in Elk River. The Kjellberg's joined a new and growing Coop called Carpet One. Thus began Kjellberg Carpet One. Stop in today and meet Kurt and Diane's son and daughter, Bret Kjellberg and Kara Stonecipher.

I wandered into Kjlellberg's because the carpeting in our living room was hopeless (due to acquisition of a new puppy).  I intended to just look but because of the friendly service by Jason and because I was allowed to take a lot of samples home with me, we ended up choosing the carpet from Kjellberg's.  Their installers were great and we are very happy with our choice.

Kjellberg was actually our second choice. After we had initially ordered the bamboo flooring from another company and been delayed indefinitely, we cancelled that order when we found similar flooring at our local Carpet One. It still took a while to get the product delivered and to schedule the installer, but the project was finished before our "drop-dead" date (we had company coming over the July 4th weekend) and the result is wonderful! We love both floors, but especially the dining room floor (tiger strand bamboo). There were a couple of minor glitches (installer overslept the first day, etc), but nothing that kept the project from being completed on schedule. We would definitely purchase from K Jellburg again.

WE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. ROLAND AND MIKE HELPED US IN THE SHOWROOM ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THEY WERE BOTH PATIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY REMAINED PATIENT AND SMILING NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES WE CHANGED OUR MINDS AND WROTE NEW WORK ORDERS. THE CARPET AND PAD WERE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED ON TIME AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED. WE ALSO ORDERED LAMINATE FLOORING FROM THEM TO INSTALL OURSELVES IN THIS NEXT MONTH.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED WITH A JOB BEING COMPLETED. EXPECTATIONS WERE TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND NOT LEAVE IT TO THE HOMEOWNER TO FINISH.
