They came out when expected, transplanted the trees in a careful and efficient manner.

It was difficult to originally establish contact with the person doing the estimate. Once I established contact and got a date and time for the estimate, they did a great job. They gave a thorough estimate of things that needed to be done around our new house. They brought a crew and completed the job quickly and did a great job.

The service went great. They were awesome. They were able to come out to my home and do the quote while I was away from home. They left the quote in the mailbox for me. I called them back and they came out to do the service. It was very easy.

The service was great. Quick call backs, accurate quote and excellant work completed when scheduled. It was nice to get an arborist's opinion on the work versus just a "tree trimmer".

The crew did a very nice job of removing the Pine from a tricky location. They also did an excellent job of pruning branches for the visual aesthetics (we live on a lake) and the health of the trees. The crew was on time and did a nice job of cleaning the debris left behind from their work. I used St. Croix one other time to remove a tree that fell due to a windstorm and they also did a great job then. I've been very pleased with their service.

I will say that they were very fast. The city had given me several different companies to contact. They came out and gave me an estimate, and they said that there were three trees, not two trees, as the city had marked. They did not have to be really careful, because of the area, but they were still very neat. They cleaned up very well after themselves, and I have called them again for an estimate on a tree that fell on my property.

They were prompt & on time. They gave us an estimate, gave us time to think about it & then performed the work. The work was done well & they did exactly what we asked them to do. There price was reasonable & I most certainly would use them again in the future.

The city where we live tagged two diseased elms for removal within ten days of certified letter receipt. We called St Croix because our next door neighbor had used them twice. They promptly came out and gave us a detailed estimate of the cost of the necessary work and some other work that we were considering having done at the same time. We called St Croix and explained which parts of the estimate we wanted completed and were given a time frame within which they said they would be able to fit us into their schedule. I called the city inspector because we were not going to be able to comply with the ten day deadline. The inspector was clearly familiar with St Croix because he easily extended the deadline when I told him who was going to do the job. Within the scheduled time period, three employees arrived with a large truck and crane and went to work. The work was completed in less than a day without incident. Everything asked to be done was professionally accomplished. All three employees were very personable and took great care to drop the trees and their limbs in such a way as to avoid my wife's gardens near and around the trees. They also took great care to clean up all the small branches and trimmings and rake the yard before leaving.

I really like the price they charged for the services they provided. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. They were able to answer any questions I had.

The two trees were quickly cut down and removed. The brush was cleaned up and carted away and nothing on the property was damaged during the process.

Chris did a great job and seemed to really know his stuff. My crab apple looks 100% better. They arrived when they said they would, and cleaned up everything. The squirrels can't get into my house anymore!

called them abut three weeks ago to come out and trim 8 trees. They said they would have the arborist call us and nobody ever got back to us. He finally called back and he did not show to the appointment that was scheduled. We had used them again in the past and had a good experience, but we are done with them and we wont be using them anymore.

They had four people at the beginning of the project and then a fifth and the supervisor came out as well. They let us watch from the front yard, they were very fast and efficient. They were very careful about the fences that we didn't want damaged. They cut up the tree on site, and the larger pieces they took with them, although they did offer for us to come to the yard and pick up some mulch whenever we wanted since they had to grind the tree elsewhere. The lilac bushes took three people to do.

The crew arrived as scheduled and removed the trees without incident. The crew chief did an exceptional job of thinning the pagoda dogwood. All tree debris was removed and there was no sign of any mess after the crew left. We were extremely pleased. This was the third time we have used St. Croix and every experience has been a pleasure. This was even more so as the original estimate was $600 and the job only cost $530.00!

St. Croix was wonderful to work with. We have some beautiful old growth trees and they trimmed them properly (i.e., didn't butcher them). Also they were creative in finding a solution to securing a limb on a big old Maple and send periodic reminders for free status checks of their work. I highly recommend St. Croix Tree Service!

I got the estimate from this company after having just received another bid for more than twice as much ($1250). After reading what other Angie's list subscribers wrote, I accepted their bid. Even though they were quite busy because of the storm, they were able to come out the next day because they gave me priority because the branch was still on the roof. They did an excellent job of removing the branch, plus some smaller ones that were damaged. The tree sits in a mulch bed with a lot of decorative plants in it, and they did not damage any of the other plants. They hauled away the wood, and did an excellent job of cleaning up.

They did a good job. They showed up on time, had reasonable rates.

The company cut and removed the tree. They were excellent. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Chris, the arborist, was very helpful in answering my "dumb" questions about removing trees. He came out to my house twice! The team that removed the trees was just amazingly efficient - and careful. Luckily, I work from home so I got to see the whole operation. All of our arborvitaes are right next to our home, and about 30 feet high. They came down one by one, nowhere near the house, and were immediately cut up and removed into their truck. The next day, the stump grinder came out with his equipment and quickly got rid of all the stumps. He even suggested I close my windows because the machine emits carbon monoxide and he didn't want it going in my house. Thanks for doing a great job on what I thought was a very difficult endeavor! (And at such a reasonable price!)

They did a great job, and got it all done in only an hour and a half.

Excellent. This was the best quote received. They arrived in less than a week after approval, were on time, and completed the required work quickly and cleaned up debris well.

ST. CROIX TREE SERVICE IS A+++ IN OUR BOOK. WE'LL NEVER USE ANOTHER TREE SERVICE AGAIN.
