The soles of my waterproof hiking boots began to come loose. Over the years the glue had begun to disintegrate. The shop replaced the cushion and reattached the soles. Turn around time was one day and price was very reasonable! Will definitely use them for all future shoe repair needs.

Shoe repair shops are not easily found, but this one is worth driving to Zeeland for. Very friendly, helpful and timely. My repair was done the same day and I was pleased with the work done. Will definitely return. One caution: I was told that turnaround might not be quite as fast during snow season, since the person doing the repairs also has county snow plow duties. So, there might be a little longer wait if there is a lot of snow.

The job was done very well, only cost me $7 and they turned the job in over in 1 day! I have not yet taken my shoes for repair, but intend to do so very soon. GLSR is the only local shoe repair I am aware of that does jobs in house - no send outs with 2 weeks or more turnover time. Additionally, before completing the job, the owner called me to confirm what I wanted done. All in all, a great experience!
