CREATIVE DIMENSIONS

Jim provided an estimate for the job that demonstrated the attention to detail he showed through the entire remodel. It was obvious he had thought things through, asked questions to ensure we were all on the same page before any work started, and explained how he arrived at his total plus how he would deal with changes along the way.
He always came when he said he would, and (big surprise for us) cleaned before he left each day. As we were living in the house during the remodel, this was appreciated and made the process much easier. He always let us know what he would be working on next so we had no surprises.
He ended up making a custom cabinet and modifying the new cabinets to compensate for the unexpected issues caused by the kitchen cabinet supplier. If I had seen his cabinet work before I ordered the cabinets, I would have asked him to make all of them. His work is beautiful and cost was equal to the discount supplier's pricing.  
Due to the cabinet supplier's errors, the cabinets arrived a month later then contracted for. Since Jim had nothing to do with our purchase of the cabinets, I was afraid he would have to move on to another job and we would be left hanging. To our relief, Jim took it in stride and  handled some smaller jobs while waiting for our cabinets to arrive. His quiet "We'll get it done" attitude and sense of humor made a very stressful time (almost) enjoyable. 
We also appreciated Jim's management of the subs he brought in as he ensured their quality of work matched his own. His professionalism was outstanding. From someone who admits to being a picky consumer, Jim Van D*** exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family, friends, and/or strangers.
