Excellent. They were easy and set up the appointment on time. They came and did it. I am very satisfied and everything looks great they were very good and has a reasonable price.

Perfect! That's the first time that I had a company and it kept me from climbing the ladder and do it for myself. They did it for 6 hours. They were very easy to get a hold of, very cooperative, perfectionist, and the windows were spotless.

This was the worst experience that cost me $237 dollars for a half *** job!!! I was told the cost would be $167 when they arrived to clean I was told they didn’t do dishes! What type of cleaning company don’t do dishes?. I explained I needed my dishes done and they said it will be an extra fee. Well I had no idea that fee would cost me $65 dollars!!! When I got home I was completely unimpressed!!! All they did was vacuum. They did clean the bathroom well but each room was unsatisfactory! In fact it was still junky under the kids beds! Nothing under the beds had been cleaned! Nothing was put away and what really did it was when I got the bill and I see it’s way more than what I was told and he says the reason why is because it took two people several hours to wash dishes which is not true!!! For the money I paid I should of had a deep cleaning! So if you are expecting a deep cleaning this isn’t the company for you. They barely do service cleaning and then stole my money by overchargeing me for some **** dishes!!!! Never again!!!

Arrived on time, exceeded our expectations on tasks performed.

2 young ladies were on time and very polite.  Do not expect a deep clean.  I had to call them back to do the floor...no mopping, just a big puffy swiffer like device.  They use a small bottle of vinegar and water, spritz the floor and rub with this "mop."  Neither the stainless steel nor the granite were cleaned well, no shine and marks not wiped off, and there were still footprints and dirt on the floor.  Cobwebs left on the light fixtures, and the glass shower cleaned only as far up as they could reach. They are not taught to clean properly.  I cancelled the next "deep cleaning".  For $145. it was most definitely not worth it.

!!!!! They left our house unlocked and garage door open when they finished a cleaning!!!! No one was home and my daughter came home and found the house like this and was afraid to go around the house for fear someone maybe lurking inside. We have been using them for 1 1/2 years and although there were occassionally cleaning issues they corrected, leaving our house wide open was an unforgivable offense and we terminated them immediately.

Although they apologized, owner and manager all said 'people are human and mistakes happen' all in the same sentence. Also said 'that's why they have insurance'. They seem very lax on maintaining the safety of customers homes not to mention the utter danger posed by strangers possibly coming into your home and your children finding them there. While objects in a home can be replaced through their 'insurance policy', members of my family cannot be replaced. Cleaning Authority does not have nearly enough concern for the safety of customers homes and families. No one should feel safe to use them.

We have had The Cleaning Authority cleaning our home on a monthly basis for a few months now. We have been happy with their service. They send an email a few days before the cleaning day as a reminder and leave a note when they are done. It is nice to come home to a clean house.

Excellent job on 1st of two initial cleanings. Bathroom and kitchen were intensively cleaned, living areas given a regular cleaning. Scheduled for a 2nd cleaning which will intensively focus on the living areas and perform a regular clean on bathrooms and kitchen. Tina and Desiree did a wonderful job, were highly professional and made our house shine! Looking forward to the next service this week.

We have been very happy with the service. At times there have been issues, something missed during the clean, had an issue with a snag in the carpet, or something not cleaned as well as I liked. Each time I have had an issues (about three times in the last four years) the owners have been very responsive and have helped to resolve it quickly, either by sending someone out or giving me a discount in the next clean. They have also worked with me in short notice for cleaning changes and have been able to work in extra cleaning when I have requested it, sometimes at the last minute. The women and men who have come to my house to clean have all been very polite and friendly. They have always been professional. I am highly satisfied with my service. They clean very well, exactly what I pay them to clean.

A team of two women arrived at 11:45, 15 minutes earlier than the 12-5 window we were given. They brought all their own supplies. I don't know how long they took to clean, but they did a great job and locked up when they left.

My problem is not actually with the cleaners who work for The Cleaning Authority, but with the owners of the Ypsilanti franchise. I find them to be unprofessional, if not dishonest. Recently they arbitrarily decided my wood floor should not be damp cleaned unless I paid extra for it; this is after having damp cleaned the wood floor for eighteen months. To justify their position, they lied about what was on the contract, saying that the price for my biweekly cleaning was based upon not doing certain tasks listed in their brochure, perhaps thinking I didn't save my copy of the contract. They would, they said, continue doing these things only if I paid them more money. The women who actually cleaned my house did an adequate job most of the time, though most of the cleaning they did was superficial; that is, things that one would notice. For example, none of them vacuumed the upholstered furniture when they were supposed to unless I pointed out that they should. If I didn't say anything, the upholstered furniture wasn't vacuumed. Also, the blinds were supposed to be dusted but I don't believe they ever were. The cleaning crews varied, so it was rarely the same people every time and I found that inconvenient. I would not use this company again.

Things go very well. It's one of the few cleaning companies that lists exactly what it is they do each time they're here, down to the detail. You know what it is they did.

Along with high quality cleaning, a priority for me was having the same cleaners that would clean the house each time--I can't stand paying cleaning companies full price for trainees (not to be rude, but....) and don't like explaining what needs to be done each week to a new set of cleaners, so I was really clear that I would pay for weekly cleanings but would expect the same crew each week. I was assured that the same crew that did the initial cleaning would be assigned to my time slot. That lasted 2 weeks. The senior cleaner on the crew filled me in and let me know that none of the cleaners were on a set schedule so the manager made that commitment knowing full well it was total nonsense. When I tried to raise this issue with the manager, I was treated with disrespect: told that if I really wanted the exact same people to clean the house, I should have agreed to give the company my house key, then they could assemble the team and clean whenever THEY were available, instead of having the unreasonable expectation of a set weekly cleaning time. Not in this lifetime. The final straw was the last cleaning--a senior cleaner and two trainees (after I had complained about NO trainees). The senior was doing her thing in the kitchen (which looked great when she was done); one trainee "cleaned" the master bath: left dirty ring in toilet, soap grunge around sink faucet and left all the soap/shampoo bottles/towels in place in the shower when she "cleaned" it; the other trainee vacuumed without moving anything (including magazine, dog toy, pair of shoes, etc.) so vacuum tracks simply swerved all over the place around these objects. When I called to complain about the job, they didn't send anyone out to re-clean and actually expected me to pay for the cleaning!

It was good. They are a little more pricey than what it's worth, but they did a good cleaning. They were all very nice. Half way through the cleaning there was an inspector who came in and checked to make sure they did everything they were supposed to.

The cleaners themselves work really hard, are really professional and friendly, and did a good job each time they came. I was generally happy at the beginning. Administratively, the company is not so organized, and I was beginning to feel like I was expected to fit my schedule around theirs, rather than the other way around. During the month of April, I called because my fianc e and I could not budget three cleans in one month. The contact person was really unhappy with me, and said that if she had to do it for me, she would have to do it for everyone, and that really messes up the schedule (I was simply asking to skip a week and resume same time, same day). I agreed to call back later with the day that cleaning would resume. I called and left a message, and received no response until the day that I was proposing, telling me that they needed a start date. Communication skills among the management staff of this company are obviously lacking. Two messages from me were missed (or ignored), resulting in me sitting around waiting for them to not show up (because I was not put on the schedule, and no one returned my call). Then I began working more hours at work, and working two jobs, and needed to change to a particular time on a specific day. This was also met with chastising, saying that they couldn't guarantee that, that time would be available every week. I gave up. It just seemed like they didn't want my business, and that I was trying harder than them to maintain this relationship. If you ever expect to change your schedule, be careful with this company!

They have an area rotation system where each week, not only do they generally clean the house, they detail one specific area. There are four areas they rotate, one each week, so that after four visits, all areas have been given extra attention. No dust on the floorboards, fingerprints on doors cleaned, etc. They have been prompt, trustworthy, and willing to return if I am unhappy with any of their work (I think I've called once in a year).
