Extremely well. They arrived at the scheduled date and time as promised and installed the agreed upon equipment and cleaned up after the job was finished.

Pat Walters & Sons is apparently the company Costco uses for their members, so I thought I'd give them an opportunity to provide a quote for our furnace and A/C replacement. My experience has been nothing less that phenomenal. John their salesman was thorough, and provided some insight that the other companies didn't about the various options. Even before the Costco rebate card, their quote was less than the 2 other quotes I'd received from other reputable companies. Their installation team was professional, friendly, efficient and kept the place clean as they worked. There was 1 small concern from our local inspector (think he was just looking for something that would require Pat Walters to pay an additional inspection fee). They came out the next day and took care of the issue, no problem, no cost. Every interaction I've had with their company has been pleasant. Would highly recommend them as well as the Costco program!

Everything went well. Costco uses them as their preferred provider, and I can see why. Very professional, had the whole replacement done in one day, replacing a 33 year old furnace with a Lennox 96% efficent furnace, with humidifier and air filter unit. Using in the spring again to install a new A/C unit.

Salesperson, work crew and telephone customer service all were professional, punctual and responsive. Installation went smoothly and I appreciated the quality of their work. However, air conditioner failed initial city inspection due to incorrect fuses being used. This was corrected within a couple days after I called and Pat Walters worked with the inspectors directly to make sure our furnace inspection was finalized. Air conditioner and furnace have been functioning fine. Our promised DTE rebate did not come within a reasonable amount of time which necessitated a follow-up call to Pat Walters. Shortly afterwards we received e-mail from DTE saying the rebate was in process. I'm not sure where the hold-up there was. The rebate we received was $50 less than what was estimated to us by Pat Walters. Not sure why. Despite a couple minor hiccoughs, I would hire them again for service.

Very easy interaction! Refilled the unit and gave us tips for keeping an eye on it and when it might need to be replaced.

Their lead time for installing the A/C unit was the longest, but they were able to get me in 11 days earlier. The installers were very friendly and did nice work. However, they did not seal the complete unit. It was just easier for me to do it myself instead of taking time off work and have them come out again.

We called Pat Walters and Sons as well as a handful of well rated contractors to provide estimates for the work. Pat Walters were able to come within a few days of the call and provided an estimate with options on the spot. After they left we had some additional questions that resulted in a couple of phone calls back and forth, which were answered or returned promptly. They weren't the cheapest estimate we got, but the equipment (Lennox) was good quality and they really seemed to know what they were doing. It didn't hurt that our Costco membership would entitle us to a discount, which was a very pleasant surprise. In addition, there were rebates for the equipment that they would submit for us to bring the cost down even further. We settled on a 70k BTU 80% 2 stage furnace, a 2.5 ton AC, a Merv16 air cleaner, a 12 gallon humidifier and a new wifi enabled thermostat. The whole shebang. Installation day was scheduled about a week after we accepted the bid. The installers arrived on time and were very careful to prepare the area ensure the floors/walls, etc were well protected. They even decided that they would haul the bulky stuff around the house and in through the rear walk-out basement door to avoid dragging it through the house and risking any damage as they did so. I appreciated that. They worked quickly, were polite and professional while they were in the house and cleaned up after themselves. I expected a big mess, but aside from some residue in the sink where they washed their hands and a couple of fingerprints on a white door, I wouldn't have even known they were there once they left. My husband makes a bigger mess making a sandwich. They were here for a total of about 7 hours. They weren't able to move my thermostat on installation day and I'm still waiting to hear when the follow up visit will be scheduled. I also just got a letter in the mail regarding scheduling an appointment for the inspection for the permit. That was a bit of a surprise. If they told me that was to be expected, I forgot. So I'll have to take care of that in the next few weeks. I'm also waiting for the rebate checks which should be delivered in the next few weeks. In all I would not hesitate to recommend Pat Walters & Sons. My house is far more comfortable now than it was with the old system. Humidity is better, the consistency in temperature from floor to floor is greater, the dust has been significantly reduced and I can't even hear the thing run. And don't even get me started about the thermostat. It's SO much easier to program and use. And someone finally figured out how to make it heat or cool depending on the need and the temperature settings. If you've got an old furnace and AC, don't fight too hard to keep it running. Repairs can be very expensive and if you will ultimately end up needing something new anyway, just go for it if you can afford to.

went smoothly. Only complaint was they did not tune the variable speed blower, and in an old house with less than ideal runs the default low speed was not sufficient to deliver heat to all parts of the house.

I give them an A they are good they've worked for me for years. They are just easy to communicate with. They always respond, You know they get right out there. I've got tenants so I can't have a broken you know, furnace, you know, and I tell them that. Because if the are not Johnny on the spot then I'm done with them.

We were very satisfied with the experience. It's mid-August, so calling for an appointment on Friday and scheduling for the following Tuesday was reasonable. The service call cost $75. The technician was very personable and quick to identify the issue. He talked through the different parts of the A/C unit with me and answered my questions. The replacement part was just $21, and he had the unit repaired and running within about 15-20 minutes. Separately, he showed me how to clean out the coils of the unit with a hose to keep the A/C running cleanly and efficiently. The tech also asked about our air filters in the furnace - what kind we were using and how often we changed them - and explained the importance of using the right type (or else the furnace warranty can be voided!) and replacing them monthly to keep everything running smoothly. We're first-time homeowners, so we really appreciate any maintenance advice we get!

This went really well. Everyone was really nice answered all questions and the installers were great. We are renovating the basement and they did a nice job shifting some of the duct work, exhaust and venting to areas that made better sense than what was there previously to make those areas easier for us with our renovation and where we could put walls. The air conditioner works very well. We are very happy with the whole experience and would recommend them.

Our furnace died a few weeks back. The tech came out within 4hours and diagnosed the problem. He needed a part that wasn't in his truck, but went and got it from the office. We had heat within 5 hours of the call. Some relay went bad and he told us that it could have been the result of batteries on our electronic programmable thermostat were going bad. He also replaced those and tweaked our humidifier.

It went very well, from quote to final inspection. Their salesman John was on time for his visits and very professional, not pushy. He answered all my questions, quoted the proper size furnace for my house (the old one was oversized) and explained the work to be done in full.  They handled all the utility rebates and Costco cash rebate, saving me the hassle of doing so. They pulled a permit with my township and let me know when I could schedule an inspection. I just had the inspection today and it passed.
Two guys (Mike & Mike) were here for the install and they did a great job, very neat and professional, and cleaned up well, even sweeping my basement floor, which I seldom do. :)
I'm happy with my new furnace and look forward to lower utility bills for years to come! I'm having as much fun as one can have with the new WiFi thermostat and iPhone app. (I'm a n***, what can I say?)
