Alan, Lisa and crew are outstanding! They have taken care of all of our yard and house needs for over 20 years. They do it all - I look forward to 20 more years of working with McMillan Enterprises.

M.E. was very professional via phone, email, and in person. They were hired to correct lopsided and messy drywall completed by another company a couple of years ago. Their tasks, as quoted: demo existing drywall where needed, complete unfinished drywall where needed, and install new drywall where needed. All tasks were completed with great detail. They were able to bridge the gap between our old plaster walls and newly dry-walled areas creating the seamless look we desired.

Alan and his crew were very nice and great to work with, we doubled the amount of boards originally projected and they were very good about dealing with the change. Crew cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. Cost very reasonable, did not feel like we were being taken advantage of on price. I came home to a great looking deck and no clean up! Thanks, for helping us out.

We recently purchased a home, and the deck was in bad shape.  It had not been cleaned or sealed in probably over 10 years. When Mr. McMillan said it would look great once it was washed and sealed, I had my doubts.  I was amazed to see how great our deck looked when the crew finished!  I wish I could post pictures to show the before and after - it looked like a new deck.  He also noticed some of our boards were split and rotted, and replaced those as well.  Great company - arrived when they said they would, worked hard, finished on time, and were reasonably priced.  I recommend them and will use them again when the deck needs a new seal in a few years.

The crew did a great job and Alan was very responsive for any questions.  The guys kept the site clean every day as the job took 1 week.  Alan did not try to add extras like painting my garage door.  We agreed it was not worth the cost and to just have it cleaned.

Alan was on site a lot of the time.  You really want to have faith in the team when you have people on high ladders around your house, and you are not equipped to do the work yourself.  Alan and his team met all of my expectations and I would trust them to do any project for my home.

Mr. McMillan gave us an estimate beforehand, with a couple of different options, including ways to cut costs. The crew did a beautiful job on the house and the trim. They also repaired some worn and damaged wood around our chimney, making it look like new.  The crew was punctual, pleasant, and professional, and completed the work in the estimated timeframe.

Prior to painting, we had used Mr. McMillan to install a dropped ceiling in our basement. We were very happy with this work as well. It was not a straightforward job (rounded corners on cinderblock walls and low-hanging ductwork), but the finished product turned out better than we ever expected, at a reasonable price.

He has repaired a beam on my deck, cracked mortar, under-cut the doors downstairs for better airflow.
He even returned a call when I needed assistance on figuring out why garage door won't close.
He also looked at the electrical to determine if he could safely install 3 prong outlets to replace the 2 prong.  When he saw that there wasn't wiring to properly install grounded outlets, he let me know and recommended I contact an electrician.  
The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend him.

He called me back immediately after my call, and was able to fit our projects in the next week.  Both Alan and James were personable, professional, and painstaking with everything. They completed everything as promised, and the work was perfect.   Alan  even had his crew work on Sunday to do the power washing when we finally had a day with temps above freezing.
I can't say enough good things about these guys.  I have found my go-to repairmen for life!

Fence and decks look great. Quite happy. Allan was very professional and informing from the get go and made the process very easy for us. Would highly recommend for quality and great communication and professionalism.

Alan and his crew did a great job power washing and staining our deck and retaining walls. They arrived on time and completed the job as promised. We would use them again for the many other services they provide.

Couldn't be happier with the result! The last thing we wanted to do was spend a fortune digging out and replacing 100 feet of privacy fence, and Alan came up with an extremely economical and effective solution. He always kept in good contact, was clear with his explanations, detailed everything that was going to be done, and performed it quickly and efficiently. We now have an upright, much more solid fence that should last us many more years! Would definitely use Alan and McMillan Enterprises for future jobs!

Alan and his crew were absolutely great! He returned phone calls promptly and was very efficient in finishing the work. Their attention to detail, quality of work and customer service were all very impressive. I would certainly recommend him to anyone and will be using him again in the future. Alan is a very honest, hardworking man that is a pleasure to work with. As a side note, my neighbor who is a very handy guy, watched the crew work from his house (I was never home) and told me that he was even impressed with their workmanship!

Overall it was a very smooth experience. I called Alan in the afternoon and he was out to give me a quote the next morning. I walked him around and showed him the deck as there were quite a few structural things that had bothered my wife and I since we bought the house a few years ago. Alan actually noticed a few more issues that were plainly obvious once he had pointed them out. It appears that are deck was built in two parts by the previous owners. The second part is a very large extension of our deck. The layout is great, but the craftsmanship of the work done by the contractor the previous owner had hired was not very good. Alan gave me a quote before he left and went line-by-line what each item would cost. The price was competitive given all the extra structural work we needed done beyond just the powerwashing and staining. It was nice that Alan's crew could handle both (i.e. not just deck painters). Ultimately Alan's attention to detail during the first walk-around gave me confidence that his crew was the right choice.
After letting him know we accepted the bid, he actually scheduled the work to be done the following week. They seemed to have a busy schedule, but coincidentally they were doing deck work a few houses down and wanted to sync up the projects since we are at the edge of their service area. They started when they said they would and there was about 10 days between the day they started and the day they finished. Two of those days were the weekend and another two it rained all day. We were quite happy with that timeframe. Most days there was a two-man crew doing the powerwashing and staining. I believe Alan also joined them for most of the structural work. When all was said and done our deck looked great! We love the new color and they did a nice job painting. The structural repairs also make the deck look better and make us feel safer since we have a small daughter that will be mobile soon. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The price we were quoted was spot on what they charged so no surprises there either. All in all, I was very happy with the work and would use them again.
