Mary Berry'S Evergreen Gardening

I have used Mary Berry's service for about 4 or 5 years and they do a very good job. I usually spend about $500. This time I ended up spending $1,070. While I was taken aback by the price at first, overall, it was well worth it. They spent a lot of careful, loving time on my front & back garden areas, put in some beautiful new mulch, trimmed my burning bushes by hand, and added some petty flowering perennials. The perennials they had added in previous years were still doing very well. We never discussed the price up front and that's one thing I would do next time I work with them. Yet, I'm happy with the outcome and my garden looks beautiful.

Horrible, horrible experience. We planned to have a continuing contract with them and they came out in March to cut back grasses and do clean up. I specifically told Mary I would trim my roses myself and these were not to be touched. She obviously did not communicate this to the crew because they chopped my smaller rose plants to death (literally couldn't be saved) and chopped the climbing rose down from the gate and fences to 1/3 the size like a ground level plant. This was beautifully trained and ready to blossom this year!! I was so mad about this. They also hacked my irrigation system when chopping the grasses and it too me two weeks to repair the damage. First I tried patching one hole but then found three more and had to replace the whole line which included having to run around to stores for parts and ordering other parts online. What a headache!! They cut plants like Euonymus back to nothing when these slowly accumulate over years. One would have thought someone did this either with malice or with extreme carelessness and ignorance of plant types. She said that she usually sets up meetings with the owners the first time the crew comes out but this seems a stretch. She didn't even do the basics by communicating what I told her. Mary admitted after the fact that the crew got out early to our project and she didn't get to communicate with them. What kind of haphazard operation are they running? I will never bring them back and likely any other landascape company will only get specific projects from me that are closely supervised. I am stunned and horrified by this experience.

I have been using this company for 2 years now and I have never been disappointed!  They are thorough and quick.

They were punctual and very professional.  Everything was done when they said it would be and it looks beautiful!!  I will certainly use this company again and again.
