RUNNNNNNNNNNN from this "man", the most inconsiderate person I've ever met. When you meet him he will sound professional as if he knows what he's talking about, but when it actually comes down to the job it's sloppy and he will quit mid-way with no reason or explanation. He won't answer his phone, it's been weeks and he's left the job incomplete. This job was taken on for my business which is a daycare and prior signing our contract he knew how important is was to complete it in a timely manner for the obvious safety reasons for the kids, the way in which the job was left is extremely unsafe and has caused one of the children to cut open their hand. When the price sounds too good it usually is, take your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Do NOT use this losers company.

"Thank you for your review, we truly do appreciate all reviews. We sincerely apologize for your frustration with our company, as well as we are saddened by the things you have written in your review. We have been in business for 49 years and we pride ourselves on quality workmanship and customer service. Our documented records indicate that our company has completed your new porch, including the block work, porch cap and steps, per your original contract. You paid 50% of the project balance when started. The items that were not completed for your project are installing the “rails and post”. There was a last-minute change to your contract, and upgraded posts needed to be ordered and delivered to complete the installation. This is what has delayed installing the rails and posts. Our records not only show that we were in communications with you, but we also show that on June 30th, you spoke with our representative to inform us that you had received the new posts and asked when we could finish. The representative communicated with you that our company would be closed July 1- July 10th for our annual employee vacation time and stated we would finish the installation of the posts and rails the week of July 11th. Starting July 7th, you started calling and texting our representative cell phone, leaving multiple messages during the days our office was closed for the employee vacation. The final text message you sent early on Monday, July 11th stated, “This is not how you conduct business! This is where we part ways I’m done! I am getting someone else to finish the job!” You ended the project completion, not our company. You then spoke to our representative on July 18 who indicated we would complete the work, or you were free to have someone else complete the work. If you wanted someone else for the installation of the posts and rails, we would remove the charge of installing those items reduce the remaining 50% balance you owed for the completed porch. You stated, you were not paying any of the balance you owe."

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH SHAWN AND HIS CREW. THE RAIN CAUSED A SIX WEEK DELAY, BUT ONCE THEY STARTED THE WORK WAS OUTSTANDING. I HAVE HAD MANY COMPLIMENTS ON MY DRIVEWAY AND HOW IT LOOKS. THEY ALSO REPAIRED MY PORCH AND THAT WAS OUTSTANDING AS WELL. MY NEIGHBOR WANTS HIS DRIVEWAY DONE BY HEARNS CONCRETE. I ALSO GOT A VETERANS DISCOUNT OF 10%, WHICH IS VERY NICE FOR VETERANS. THE JOB WAS DONE ON IN A TIMELY MANNER. IT MAKES MY FRONT YARD LOOK GREAT.

Weather did not cooperate for three weeks, but once it cleared they were on the job and it was completed in two days

Generally they were very flexible. They were timely and were able to perform the job very quickly. They were able to quote exactly what I was looking for. I spent about $750. Generally I was happy with them. I will consider using them in the future.

We called the business number and left a message and were called back the same day, he came out the next day we asked what we thought were pertinent questions he asked important questions about what we wanted, he emailed us an estimate the next day They were able to complete the job even sooner than the first time estimated. They showed up on time did the prep work in one day but couldn't pour the concrete until two days later because of rain, when the rain stopped they were right back did the job. They were very professional yet friendly the work was beautiful, they cleaned everything up. We were very pleased with the whole process.

I bought the house in April and it needed a lot of work before I was able to move in. Among other things, my preset front steps had been installed incorrectly by previous owners, and I was getting a lot of water in the basement. I got estimates for the concrete work early in the process and picked Hearns because their bid was comparable and slightly lower than the other bid I received. All of the work was completed within a total of three working days, largely in my absence. As mentioned above, Hearns and a tree service had to work around each other, and this was done quite efficiently. Since I'm not a pro, I couldn't tell right after the work had been done whether it had been done right, but over the course of the next few months, several other contractors who came through working on other projects said they thought it looked good. Ultimately, I judged the work successful because water management in the basement has vastly improved and all the other concrete that was set looks great and functions well. I actually remembered to write this review because I'm about to call them for an estimate on another job.

They originally did the work in October, and then I had to have them come back and fix what they did in July. My wife made the decision when I wasn't home. She thought they were the most professional people that came out when giving the quote. There were multiple delays in actually coming out in removing the sidewalk and replacing it.

It went very well. I got an initial estimate from them early on, then when I was ready to do the work I called them for a final estimate (I'd changed the size/location a bit to comply with county regulations), they showed up, signed off on a revised estimate, and had the area dug out and ready for concrete pouring that night. They were done by 9:00 AM the next morning, poured and polished. It's working very well so far. Their estimate was higher than some others, but it's worth paying for quality. They responded quickly with a quote over email too, which is always a good sign.

Very helpful on the phone and provided a prompt quote in person. The job was delayed due to weather, and little feedback was given. In spite of weather delays, they still poured the concrete when raining which left a terrible appearance. They promptly refinished the surfaced when asked and it now looks great.
