We had a difficult septic tank replacement, and contacted Citadel, they came in gave a quote, we checked around with other contractors but we went with Citadel because of their prompt service and caring attitude. A family owned and operated small business. Greg and Bob Berklich are great to work with. In and out in the time quoted at the price agreed on. Their follow up after the job was done was great. They should be your Go-To-Company for excavating work. Thanks again Guys.

They dug up the old line and replaced it with PVC. It happened to run under my asphalt driveway which was repaved several months after. The pipe was 12-16 feet below grade. when the excavation was backfilled, they just pushed all the soil back into the hole. If done properly, it would be placed in 12-24" lifts and compacted. Because of their laziness, more than a year after it was completed and paved, it is still settling. it one area, the driveway has settled nearly 12". I contacted them and never heard a response. I would not do business with them again.

Citadel was very responsive, did great work, and fixed the problem.  Ten years ago they replaced the collapsed Orangeburg pipes with PVC pipes that led from my house to the center of the street.  Very professional crew.  I would definitely recommend this company.
My front lawn was dug up in order to install the new PVC pipes.  The crew replaced all of the dirt, and re-seeded the grass.
 My family and I were grateful for the wonderful job that they did.  I would definitely recommend them.

Citadel Excavating has done several sewer line replacements in my neighborhood. They are very reasonably priced, do a professional job and complete things when they say they will. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work done.
