This fall we used Bolton Septic Company to pump out our septic system. At that time they offered to install access pipes for future cleanings, which we agreed to have them do. We were totally satisfied with the two workers who came out to do the job. They were prompt, courteous, and very personable. They were also extremely patient and focused despite the audience of our six grandchildren who were standing by observing and asking a hundred questions as children are apt to do. The owner, who took our call and scheduled us, was very pleasant and informative. He took his time and did not rush through the call. He even went the extra mile to look up county records to see the size of our second tank and that of our son's who was also interested in hiring their services. We would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their type of service. Additionally, we would give Bolton a rating of 10, however, the prompt questions did not allow for this. Called and scheduled a routine pumping. Two days later my septic tank backed into the house. Bolton was awesome in getting me in today to get it pumped. Awesome service. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future

WARNING!!!!! If you are having septic tank issues Do Not Call Bolton Septic service. We called them because we had an issue, our tanks were not draining properly so since we had them come out less than a year ago for maintenance we called them last Tuesday and was told "Its too cold nobody will come out in this weather you will have to wait until the temp was up to like 20*" So we scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning we told them we had a discharge filter and asked if that could be the issue Mr. Bolton said it could be so we asked that they bring one with them and change it out because when they did the original maintenance they told us it had a broken handle and could not be removed for cleaning. So Friday comes and I call Bolton to verify the appointment and that the guy would have the new filter on his truck and was told that he would call on the way. Saturday morning comes and they did not show up so I try calling them to see why and get the answering machine that says they will call back ASAP, No call so we wait and wait, tried calling again and the same thing happened so we leave another message but still no callback. At 4:30 pm I get a call from the driver and he tells me that he was not given a filter and the supply house was now closed so there was no reason to come out to our house the tanks are still not draining. So I ask him to have the owner call me back - no call back! So we Call Patrick EXXXX 517XXXX at 5:00pm and explain the situation and he said he would be out in 45min. He arrives in 30min, checks the tanks and says they are full so he removes the covers and up floats the filter - not stuck and in dire need of cleaning! This is the same filter that Bolton said could not be removed so Patrick pulls it out and pumps out the tanks then he told me that the fitting where the handle is 3/4' PVC and just needs a tee glued on for a handle and just spray it out with water to clean it that it would not need to be replaced. Problem solved! Patrick also told me that he has been servicing tanks all week and could have come out on Tuesday. Oh Did I mention that he was actually closed at 3:00 pm on Saturday when he responded to the call. So if you are looking for old-style customer service call Patrick EXXXX instead of Bolton.
