SCHOLTENS ELECTRIC

Jeff was fairly quick to respond. He returned my call within the hour but was not able to meet me until the next day. While that was disappointing, it was fine. We met at 8 am the next day, a Friday. They don't work weekends so I had to wait until Monday for them to start the work which of course delayed the pipe fix and left no water. The renter was put out for a few days but luckily he didn't mind, the timing of the incident was just unfortunate. They rewired the kitchen and removed the old electrical in order to make room for the plumbers to start their work. They came back Thursday and finished up with the electrical box installation. I was a little disappointed that they left their drilling mess from the drywall on the counter but they may have assumed we were going to clean anyway since we would have to clean in order for the renter to move in so I wasn't too upset and wouldn't necessarily say they always leave a mess behind. Overall I was very happy with the results and pricing.

Ryan was 75 minutes late, I had to call Jeff (the owner) and then Ryan showed up. Ryan charged 3.5 hours for 1 hour and 25 minutes of work. Was not able to provide an estimate (only Jeff is able to do this). I was billed for the time to get the electrical supplies. When I got the invoice for $300+, I called and was credited 1 hour. Jeff was great at promising excellent service, but it was not delivered. The electrical work was well-done but Ryan was condescending initially and unhappy about having to pull wire through the crawl space.

They did a good job. They are right here where I live. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Work was done promptly within one week of my call, and we are satisfied with results.

THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH REWIRING MY LIVING ROOM SO WE COULD PLACE A FAN ON THE CEILING AND A SWITCH NEAR THE DOOR TO TURN IT ON. THEIR PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE AND I WOULD LOVE TO HIRE THEM AGAIN.
