Refrigeration System - Install or Replace - For Business
We had the service crew that consist of Isaac, Tristen, and Henrick, that came out and deliver our new refrigerator and microwave, and stove they were very professional, careful, knowledge, did everything that they. were asked to do, I never give a perfect 10 but this is pretty close, thank you for the. Job well done

DELIVERED FLOOR MODEL, BUT CHARGED FOR NEW APPLIANCE On June 15, 2020 my wife and I went to Gerrit’s Appliances to buy a refrigerator and a dishwasher--we have been customers since 1979. We bought all-new fridge, wall-mounted double oven, and a dishwasher. The sales guy was Cam Boven. In July Gerrit’s technicians came to install the dishwasher and we noticed that the dishwasher was not new. I called Cam to inquire about it and he confirmed that he sent us the display (floor model). When I said to him that I felt cheated, he responded: “For us it is as new.” He offered to reduce 100 dollars (on a $1,500 dishwasher). We did not accept--we paid for a new one and that is what we wanted. Since they did not have a new one, they took the display model back and then reimbursed us. What is disappointing, and bad business for Gerrit’s, is that at least they should inform the customer that the only item they have is the one on display--then the customer can make a choice. But it is dishonest to assume that because “for them it is as new," I would blindly accept it without having been told. Had I not noticed, I would have paid full price for a floor model. This is cheating. It is quite sad for a company that has been our "go-to" place for so many years to treat us this way. No longer.

This is the first time that I used them. The coil caught on fire. I even had to unplug it to stop the fire. I ended up paying $50 more for that stove that I did 18 years ago. I thought I got a pretty good deal. They had a pretty good big showroom and very nice. I needed the stove right away, they offer4 to sell me the four model and then they took the money off of that. There was nothing wrong with the stove, no scratches, no dents, no nothing. They loaded it on the truck for e. They came a week later and they picked up the old stove. Its all part of the service. They had some really high end stuff down to normal stuff. It was good.

our who-knows-how-old washer died and figured we'd just better get a new pair. After a while of searching ads for new makes and models and getting information-overload, we felt that we'd stick with Gerrit's due to their location and pricing. True, some of the larger stores had cheaper prices, but after you consider they charge $250 for delivery and installation, and Gerrits charges $25, all the pricing came out pretty much the same in the end.
The defining factor then became location and service. They are local, and if there's a problem, we can go there and talk to them instead of waiting through holds on a 1800 number (which we had to do a number of times with the scratch-and-dent dryer.... but that's another review of great service...)

The workman had to saw the hole bigger since new oven was a newer model. Our old one that came with the house was a branfd called Martha Washington and was about 25 yrs old and no repair shop carried that brand so we had to buy a newer model. The man commented on how we have real drywall since newer homes do not have the better like we do.

Very Happy with the out come- They had me come in and we talked, they agreed to take the washer and dryer back, and I decided I did not need all that electronic stuff on it any way, went with a Speed Queen- they have a great rating on the most internet sites, yes it has dials, but it works great, and the clothes are nice and clean, and it does spin almost as fast as the Cabrio I had, but not as much vibration, and clothes are dry in no time. There was a slight rattle in the dryer when they delivered it, they sent a repairman out, and it was just a couple of wires inside that has been placed to close to the side wall, so it rattled a bit, they were here only about 10 min, very happy so far,and I know if I have any problems, they will stand behind the product 100 percent, and there service is top notch. You may pay just a little bit more for there product, but worth the service you get. The units I ended up with have a 3 years warranty, try and find that on any other.

It was an excellent experience. The sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient (it took me several trips to the store to decide exactly what I wanted). They are NOT at all pushy. They delivered the new refrigerator exactly when they said they would, set it up and explained all of the features to me before they left. Also, we had one glitch in the installation due to poor measuring on my part. They did a great job of figuring out how to make it work despite the measuring flaw. They also carted away the old refrigerator. The delivery men were friendly and very professional. Also, I appreciated the fact that the sales staff do not try and sell any special warranties like the big box retailers. I have also purchased a washing machine from them with equally good results. They service what they sell. After I moved into my house, I had them out to repair an appliance that came with the house and, again, they were great. I highly recommend this company.

MY WASHER AND DRYER ARE WORKING VERY WELL NOW. THEY GOT STARTED AS SOON AS THEY GOT HERE. THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY AND GOT IT FIXED IN NO TIME AT ALL. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS WHEN THEY WERE DONE.
