Went very well.  Staff was all professional and nice.

Went to the store a couple of times to make sure about my choices.  Jack was very helpful. Was the one to come to house and measure.  Installers were professional and courteous and timely.  Whole job, including getting carpet ordered, was max 3 weeks.

The job went very well. Would definitely use installer again. We've since moved and have all hardwood floors. Installer was very prompt and courteous. Finished the job in one day except reinstalling the shoe molding, came back first thing the next morning.

It went well. The flooring installation was scheduled and everything came in on time. The price was excellent. The flooring was very high quality but we were able to get a discount price on it. The people were extremely skilled and professional. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time. Again, excellent. I would not hesitate to call them for another job or recommend them.

This is the second time that I have used this company, I have been very satisfied with the outcome. The salesman that I worked with was very helpful, his name was Alek Petrenko.

Worked hard to skillfully put in around 1600 sq. ft. of flooring.  Did a great job and made sure we were 100 percent satisfied!  In fact, wouldn't quit until they had our approval; also were very neat and clean.  The sales staff and workers were trustworthy and did their very best to make sure we were pleased.  Would highly recommend them!

Sergei Petrenko is the owner of Flooring America and he is an outstanding businessman who practices customer service and guarantees customer satisfaction.
I started shopping for hardwood floors for my condominium in spring 2012.  Because the unit lies on a concrete slab and I wanted to run the same flooring throughout, I had limited options.  Sergei consulted with me over several visits and we discussed appropriate alternatives.  I ultimately decided on solid strand bamboo, which holds up well to humidity and moisture.  Since I was not happy with the orangey tone of the only choice, Sergei researched the entire industry to see what other cost-effective products he could find.  He was able to locate a natural, honey-toned option that completely met my design and budgetary needs.  Sergei had nothing to gain from expending extra time and energy to ensure my happiness, which was his  stated goal.
Then a major problem developed.  The installer whom I thought I had hired never showed up at the job but instead had subcontracted the work to someone else.  The new installer laid the floor laterally rather than longitudinally from the front door to the slider.  At no time had the installers called me to verify direction but instead made that critical decision on their own.  When I confronted the lead man with my dissatisfaction, he defended his decision to run the boards width-wise.  He told me I would have to pay him to pull up the floor and reinstall it in the preferred direction.
That's where Sergei stepped in.  He listened to my entire account and agreed that the installer should have checked with me before proceeding with the work.  Sergei ordered more wood to cover the shortfall and worked out an arrangement with the installer, on my behalf, to cover the full cost of pulling up and relaying the floor lengthwise.  I am sure that Sergei spent most of the profit he made on my order to rectify this bad situation.  The true test of any company is how it handles a problem like this.  Sergei could not have done a better job making things right with me, and I will use Flooring American again in the future and refer my friends and family to his store.  I am more loyal to Sergei and his company now than I would have been had the incident never happened, and he has earned my appreciation, respect, and patronage.
