Wilhelm Landscapes

They are horrible to deal with. His demeanor was horrible. He used foul language and we had to have three sheriffs come to my home because he became so irate. He refused to give a senior discount that he had advertised on Angie's List and he said he had no knowledge of how his company even got onto Angie's List and had no knowledge of a senior discount. I would not recommend him to anyone. He also does not honor the price he starts out with.

The work was completed on time and as detailed in the plan. The crew was diligent and courteous. I thought the project went very well. I would definitely recommend Wilhelm Landscape to anyone looking for a landscape contractor.

I turned to Robert Wilhelm, the owner, to help with landscaping and irriagation problems with the area around our patio.   He was very responsive, knowledable and hands on.  He listened to our concerns and what we wanted and then made some excellent money saving suggetions. He got me a detailed estimate right away and his estimate was far better than anything we had been given previously.  He then took care of the work right away -- I didn't have to chase him down to complete the work. Best of all he followed up with us to make sure everything was working and that we were satisfied.  I highly recommend Wilhelm

Robert Wilhelm was prompt and did what he said he was going to do. The overall affect is great...and the materials look great with my lakefront home.

They did two major jobs for us. The last one was done and predicated on the fact that we gave them a second job if they fixed the first job. They used inferior products on the sea wall on the first job. We didn't know they were using inferior products and weren't given options on materials. They used limestone designed for above ground, not to be in water. After the first winter season, the limestone cracked and is crumbling in the water. It is dangerous to be around. We called them continuously to fix their work and even sent letters. They finally said they would fix the work if we had another job for them to do. We gave them a smaller landscaping job. They would never come back and fix the wall though. They said it was early in the season and would do it later when their work slowed down, but we have never heard back from them. I would never recommend this company.

Their service was awful. They gave us a nice layout with the landscaping and the first year everything looked fine. They had allowed an area for water to drain from higher ground to lower ground. After a year, the water had been washing away the soil under some stone work they laid. It turned out they did not lay down the correct liners when they did the work. I asked if they would come fix it, but they said they wouldn't since it was over a year. We had to repair it on our own dime, which was a consider cost.
